His brother questions if Rajwinder will approve of his choice. Kuldeep replies that he first wants to have a date with her. On the other hand, Jeet tells his friend and Guruji that he plans to give Heer a homemade meal of makke ki roti and sarso ka saag. They discuss how Jeet has feelings for Heer, even though she is unaware of it.

Goons wait for Atwal to arrive. Rajwinder and her elder son reach the godown where Heer’s father’s harvested grains are kept. Jeet is on his way to Heer’s house to deliver food when it starts raining, so he hurries to reach her home. Heer’s mother opens the door and is annoyed to see Ranjeet, but her father happily greets him and takes the tiffin from Jeet. He mentions that Heer is busy teaching, so he will give it to her later.
