Kunal Thakkur to feature with Rashami Desai in ‘Narishakti’ story of Sony TV’s CID

The ‘Narishakti’ twin- episode in Sony Entertainment Television’s CID (Fireworks Productions) featuring Rashami Desai will also have actor Kunal Thakkur playing a major part.

Kunal will be shown as the simple and fun-loving character by the name of Rajeev who would know Rashami’s character Sakshi through his wife Keerthi. Sakshi and Keerthi, would be colleagues at the NGO where they would be working.

The plot connecting Rajeev and Sakshi would be interesting, as they would have a past story. And Rajeev, who would be shown as a simple down-to-earth guy, would have a different tinge in reality.

This story will be on the human trafficking racket, wherein Sakshi will go on to unearth that her husband, essayed by Nikhil Roy is not a good person. The story which will be on air from tonight (26 September) will depict the power of woman, and will air on the occasion of Navratri.

When contacted, Kunal confirmed that he is playing a pivotal part in the episodic.

Kunal Thakkur, who has earlier done shows like Bandini, Mahabharat, Yeh Hai Aashiqui was also part of Himesh Reshammiya’s The Xpose. He will now star in Xpose 2, which will kick-start by the end of this year. Xpose 2 we believe, will have a bigger star cast with a gripping storyline.
