Kunal Jaisingh to play a ‘teen sensation’ in Yeh Hai Aashiqui; Namita Dubey paired opposite him

Kunal Jaisingh, who essayed the role of Ranveer Shergill in The Buddy Project will play a typical charmer and a teen sensation in this week’s story on Disney Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Giving him company will be newbie Namita Dubey. Dubey has earlier appeared in MTV Webbed and Gumrah.

This particular story will depict a clash between ‘Career’ and ‘Love’ wherein the boy who is on a mission to get into mainstream singing and dancing would have to choose between his career and love.

Kunal will play the role of Prince, who has the tenacity in him to attract all girls. Being flocked by girls always, Prince who has a flair for singing and dancing would be focussed towards his career and goal. However, his life would see a sea-change with the entry of Shamita, a girl who is straight-forward and knows what she wants in life.

This episode will be produced by BBC Worldwide Productions. Also, the happy news for Yeh Hai Aashiqui fans is that the show will be going bi-weekly from this week. It will be aired on Friday and Sunday.

When contacted, Kunal told us, “It was a nice experience working with the Yeh Hai Aashiqui team. Though I cannot divulge anything about the story, I can tell you that I play the role of a teen sensation, a guy loved by all girls (smiles).”

Namita who hails from Lucknow has consciously kept herself away from daily soaps. On the story, she said, “It was a very interesting story and it will keep the viewers glued to it. I made quite a lot of friends in the team of Yeh Hai Aashiqui till the time I completed shoot. They were nice people to work with.”

This particular story will go on air this weekend.
