Kumkum Bhagya 9th December 2014 Written Episode
The episode starts with Abhi frightening Suresh by telling if he does not agree to marry Pragya, Pragya’s MMS will be leaked and people will insult her. He says even his reputation will be ruined as he is a teacher and his students will bully him that he is a cheater and not teacher. Suresh reminisces Bulbul telling that he is the reason for Pragya’s troubles and says Abhi that he is ready to marry Pragya. He says respects Pragya and cannot see her insults, says he was unfit for Pragya and it is good he divorced her, even he is unfit for her, but will marry her to save her from people’s insult. Abhi says he did not listen to his lecture and asks him to get ready for the marriage video.
Tanu thanks Pragya for lending her way to marry Abhi. Pragya says if Abhi will know her cruel side, he will hate her. She says he will not believe it and drops Abhi watch on floor while playing with it. Pragya holds it and says when she cannot take care of his things, how will she take care of his house. Tanu says she will take care of his heart and house will be taken care by servants. She asks if she is in love with Abhi and says it does not matter to her now as she is marrying with him anyways. She asks Pragya what gift she needs in her marriage. Pragya says she can bring red rose bouquet and its thorns will remind her how she feels when she sees her with her husband. Tanu gets irked hearing that.
Abhi comes to Sarla’s house. Sarla asks where is her daughter. Daadi says she ruined her daughter’s life and wants her daughter back now. Abhi says he did not came to listen their taunts and has come to invite for a marriage at his house. They are surprised and Sarla asks whose marriage. He says Pragya’s. Sarla asks with whom. He says with Suresh. She slaps him and asks who is he to take this decision when she is still alive and says if her daadi was awake, she would have felt ashamed of him. She says Pragya will not agree for it anyways. He says she has agreed. She is shocked to hear that.
Abhi says even after being so good to them and thinking good of their daughter, they are blaming him and says whatever they think, he will get Pragya married and fulfill his responsibility towards her.
Mitali goes to jail and says Raj that she will get him out soon. He says he does not want to come out and for whom he should come. She says she and his kids care about him a lot and wants him back. He says whole world is full of lies and without proof, she cannot get him out, he is waiting for court’s order and once it comes, he will be in jail forever, so she should stop thinking of bailing him out and should not come back there again. She says she will do something.
Abhi comes home whistling happily. Aaliya asks what is the reason. He says he is waiting for Pragya and Suresh’s marriage and once it happens, he will be free. Tanu says they can marry after that. He sees Pragya carrying water and asks Aaliya why did she allow would be bride to work. Pragya asks her to stop joking and let her go. He takes tray from her and gives it to servant. He says his puppets Tau and Aaliya that they should get Pragya’s mehandi and makeup done. Aaliya says they can get her manicure also. Tanu asks what about the black mark of infidelity on her forehead. Aaliya says that will fade away as she is marry Suresh. Pragya asks them to stop their taunts. Abhi says she should be happy now that Suresh has agreed to marry her. She is shocked to hear that.
Abhi says Pragya that Suresh got happy hearing about marriage proposal and is eager to marry her, he may bring baarat today itself and must be busy selecting matching specs frames with his sherwani. She says it cannot happen. He says this has happened and he has even invited her family, he will book their honeymoon package also.
Precap: Sarla asks Bulbul if she wants Pragya and Suresh’s marriage to happen. Bulbul says she just wants to know what is going in Pragya’s mind. .

December 10, 01:22Abhi is the much hated person besides his sister and his gf Tanu at present . The manner by which he goes around , bulldozing Pragya and Suresh into wedlock , should raise a few questions in the minds of the viewers. Why is Abhi doing all this and what would he gain by this ? Definitely not what he proclaims, for that is a unconvincing explanation. Personally, I feel that Abhi is in possession of some information where the very credibility of the mms is questioned. To get to the bottom of the ongoing drama, Abhi stages another enactment, which would nail the culprits.
If , one studies the body language of Abhi , especially with Sarla and family , he is far from his egoistic self. There is sadness .He is different when he is with Suresh and Pragya, throwing his weight around . Further, he is constantly observing Pragya and her reactions , Aaliya and Tanu ‘s taunting barbs at Pragya.He is not what he ‘dramatizes ‘.So, why all this, is my question ?
Another observation in favour of Abhi is that he has the grounding of his daadhi more than his sister. Her values and her upbringing has an effect on Abhi .He does have more virtues than Aaliya , which has been proven many times in the past. He does hesitate to openly flirt with Tanu in the presence of his grandma.What stops him ? That’s his nature .There is a certain amount of ‘goodness’ in Abhi , though he needs to be constantly monitored . He can be an angel or a devil, it all depends on the guidance offered at that moment. That’s his greatest flaw … he is easily led by people and that’s where the trouble starts.
Abhi is staging the entire melodrama, all for getting at the core of the truth.This is just a possibility which is highly probable .
Of course, all this is carried a bit too far by Abhi . Taking the trouble of decking the bride, arranging honeymoon plans and inviting her folks for the marriage are ludicrous . Which ex husband would do that for his ex wife ? Maybe , if he is on a deathbed ..and that too, only in our films and serials …So, cut short this farce .Keep your dramatics for your stage shows, Abhi , we know you are rock star.
If, still all my theories are proven wrong, Ekta is some dramatist at par with the greats of that art.

I second with you in most of your points.Abhi has 2 sides to his personality which he almost displayed in today’s episode.
On one side, he is very sensitive at heart and emotional with which he sympathizes towards Pragya (I cant say really that he loves her or not, but definitely sympathizes) . on the Other side he wants to show him self as a rough and rude person and with which he easily gets manipulated by bad people around and hates Pragya. And his behavior is out come of the continuous battle between these two sides of his personality.At times he is very kind and at times he is ruthless.
And sad part is his bad part is dominating most of the times 🙁 .
He came to an extent and we cannot assume that he is doing all these insane acts to make Pragya confess her feelings because Certainly he crossed boundaries.
Only hope left is that he is staging a drama expecting an output which can prove her innocent and get the real culprits out.
Hope fully things settle down peacefully by either bravo Dadi or Abhi him self and Bulbul does not come-up with another stupid sacrifice and marry Suresh. Because as much as it is pathetic to see Suresh-Pragya pair , the same way it is to see Suresh-Bulbul pair as well.

December 10, 05:26Hello RK , thanks for your feed back. You are 200% correct about Abhi being dominated by the ‘bad ‘side of his personality , most of the time.Very true .Happy about the slap , but why did Sarla have to stop at one ?
T am also not for Suresh – Bulbul marriage . But , my gut feeling is that Bulbul would resort to this , all in the name of ‘sacrifice ‘for she would be under the impression that by doing this ,Pragya is not further troubled by Abhi.That is her world of illusion.
I don’t know if you saw the promos where Abhi decks Pragya with jewels . Sickening it is to see this and saddening too .

December 09, 13:47All these twists and turns, highs and lows, feels like a roller coaster ride of massive proportions. After effects are dizziness, nausea and a headache (all the shenanigans sure gives one a sick feeling).
Aaliya and Tanu – these two are so well suited for each other. They can spend the rest of their lives crying on each others shoulders.
Abhi- man, mouse or villian?? Villian with Pragya, mouse with Aaliya and Tanu and a gentleman with the Dhadis. Perhaps all that rock music did some harm, some soul/blues or classical music will calm the beast in him, smooth out the rough edges.
On a more serious note, I really wonder what Ekta and her team have in store for the viewers. A good show was promised but so far there’s been lots of disappointment. The show seems to be taking the route of Ek Muthi Aasman, from a high to a low and then flat on its face.
There is however, loads of potential to improve the storyline and bring back the fans. Its all up to the powers that be, the trained storytellers and dreamweavers. 🙂
