Kumkum Bhagya 5th December 2014 Written Episode
The episode starts with Sarla getting tensed thinking about Pragya. Bulbul with Daadi tries to cheer her up and says we have to keep Pragya happy by reminding her of old days here and says Sarla she should be a support to Pragya now. Sarla nods yes.
Pragya comes down with he bags to leave Abhi’s house. Aaliya says it is good she came herself, else she would have come up and thrown her out of window. She asks her to forget that she is Abhi’s wife from hereon. Abhi sees her bag and asks if she is carrying his items in lieu of coming back and returning it. Pragya gets nervous and asks why will she take his clothes. He asks her to go and keep back her clothes. Aaliya it is her bag and she can take it. Abhi says he does not want her to go now and she can only leave his house after marrying someone else. He says she will go out and will make another MMS, so it is better that she enjoy with her lover here itself. She says she does not care what people say. He says her family will be ashamed when people will ask about her affairs, so he will not let her go like this. Aaliya asks why is he stopping her when she herself is going. Abhi says it is between Pragya and him and nobody should interfere. He says he will get Pragya married in 2 days and then she can leave this house. She says she will not marry.
Abhi says once she marries, his house’s doors will be shut for her permanently. He says if she does not marry, she will brainwash Daadi again and will stay here permanently, says Daadi is his biggest weakness and her biggest strength, so he wants her to marry and leave. He asks why she wants to meet daadi and Raj’s kids even after marriage. She says she will not meet daadi then. He asks what if Daadi wants to meet him and says he cannot take a risk of letting her out before marriage and come back here. She says he cannot hold her here after marriage and cannot force her to marry. He says if she goes out, he will upload her MMS on net. Aaliya says if he uploads MMS, his imagine and career will be ruined. He says he knows and even then will do this. He says if people will watch that MMS, her mom will be bullied more than her and her mom will die in shame.
Abhi says she can walk out if she wants to, but if she goes, it is like a suicide for her and she will be responsible for her mom’s death. He says if she does not stay, he will upload video in 5 minutes. She runs back and says if he uploads, his career will be finished. He asks her to think about herself and remarry.
Precap: Abhi warns Pragya if she does not agree to stay back, he will upload video and both their lives will be destroyed…

Instead, she should refuse to marry Suresh, come what may be, even if abhi’s career is ruined. Abhi will NOT release the mms as threatened .That is just an empty threat .

Did anyone see the Tellypromo with suresh and Pragya dressed for marriage standing side by side…Abhi is with them….ohhhhhh nooooo….quite the twist…what is Suresh doing?????? This is beyond Abhi searching for answers…where is Ekta going with this???? My guess is that no matter how much people say the show is bakwas, we want to see the outcome…lol

December 06, 20:34Hi , lj , I too saw not only that but two other promos where Abhi is with Pragya-Suresh ‘wedding’.Some scenes were disturbing too. It was shocking no doubt.I consoled myself with some of my own hypotheses ….
1. It could all be a figment of someone’s imagination .. Abhi or Pragya or Suresh , a dream sequence that which our serials are famous .
2.It could be truly that dreaded twist of KB .
3. Abhi might have some doubts about the whole incident and forced the issue to the wedding to get the truth out…. which is far fetched , but still possible , with Suresh helping him out .
4. It is just a promotional gimmick .
5. I am not too sure about this.. but there must be some time lapse before either of the divorced partners can enter matrimony once again,,, a couple of months or so .Just breaking a marriage and entering another is unheard of… and cannot be done . So ,it is again just a dream..
6. Absolutely anything, I repeat ANYTHING is possible with Ekta and her crew .
There may be many more explanations besides these that I’m unaware of. . But frankly speaking, I don’t think , Daadhis ,on both sides , Sarla would agree to all this , as marriage may be personal for the couple concerned but it is also a social event for the families.
Finally, we the viewers should prepare ourselves for any outcome as far as this serial is concerned, with Ekta at the helm , we should be ready … EXPECTING THE UNEXPECTED .So. resign ourselves we must to Ekta and wait and watch the things she is churning out in the name of entertainment . Saddened am I with the turn of events, resigned to the course this would take . angered that a good script was thrown out for some stupid unknown reasons , and philosophically prepared for any outcome . BUT , by Pragya and KB , stand I will , watch I will and comment I will . Have no other powers to do anything else !

I hadn’t considered the possibility of it being a dream..i hope it is! From the look on Suresh’s face it would be more of a nightmare!
With respect to the legality of divorce, Ekta seems to use
“Artist License” while creating marriages.
In Pavitra Rishta she did the same.
We have to consider that as a fictonal piece the laws that abound are also fictitious
your thought that Suresh teaming up with Abhi in search of the truth is an interesting supposition..
Looking forward to how this will turn out..hoping it won’t be sadistic!!

December 06, 22:56I dont agree with abhi after divorce pragya cant come back in his life. So why is he stopping her u all guys know whenever pragya is stepping out of house abhi is stoping her . There was only one time that pragya step out of house before that too without knowledge of abhi. tanu and aliya had sent her out without informing abhi. There is something which we are unable too see it the reason which he is forcing pragya to marry suresh is not valuable reason .

I truly am in the dark about this so- called Ekta’s ” Artist Licence “… So legally , there should be no complications.
As your said, I too feel I should have used the word ” nightmare ” instead of “dream “.. But I think that both are the right words … as one should use ‘dream ‘ for Abhi and ‘Nightmare ‘ for Pragya and Suresh…What say you ?

Pragya goes back to her lecturing and be more confident. Finds another more handsome, successsful, rich and famous guy than Abhi the rock star and get married and settledown.
Bulbul and Purab get married. Let Suresh find someone else!
After Pragya is married, Abhi finds out that Pragya is innocent and its all his sister,sister in law and Tanu’s plan . But now he cant do anything about it and kicks out Tanu. Daadi gets mad at him and leaves him and stays with Pragya.
Abhi will feel guilty and will loose his charm as rock star and starts drinking and loose his fame and money . Aliya will no longer flaunt herself in designer clothes and start begging for food. Tanu will be miserable and start eating so much that she will become fat and ugly and sits in the house with no boyfriend, no job . And she will kick out Aliya her best friend out of her house also .
Finally Abhi will not have anyone around him for his brainles, arrogant attitude.
Aliya will see Purab and Bulbul living happily ever after .

She doesn’t need a man to make her whole… She should focus on her career and become a noble price winner for doing outstanding wrk to the community and achieve her fulfilment & fame from that… While Abhi, through his arrogance looses his stardom & wealth, left with nothing & no one and become Pragyas charity case… Then he could be shown as repented and help Pragya in her charity and they can remain friends forever… No need to have any romantic relationship, would be a good example of what not & what should be priorities in life…

December 05, 18:53There is some motive behind Abhi’s senseless insistence that Pragya should remarry . It’s not what meets the eye but again, it’s not one which can be pointed out. Whatever be the reason, Abhi has no right to humiliate Pragya in such a manner. Just having the entire family witnessing not only their divorce proceedings, but also hearing Abhi- Pragya showdown ‘is unheard of.. There is no place for their privacy in that big house ? That’s mental harassment to the limit .
Whoever hears of a divorce granted in a sitting room of a rockstar’s house ? With an audience ? Without a magistrate ? And all within a wink of an eye ? Further , the documentation takes some time . All these factors are conveniently overlooked.Courts provide a in- camera proceeding , especially for sensitive divorce cases, where only the couple and their respective lawyers are present.
Why is Abhi arm twisting Pragya to this extent ? He must be concerned about his public image .. Why should he do all this for a person for whom he has scant respect ? But , today, I’ve no good words to comment about Abhi. He is fallen in our eyes .Can one degrade his ex partner and dictate terms and conditions about her future plans ? Her pleas fall on his deaf ears.. Whatever his legitimate reasons may be.. . he should not tread on her toes , considering the fact the divorce is granted.
Totally, the episode leaves one helpless,embittered, angry and disgusted ,tugging at our heart strings at the plight of Pragya and the insensitive attitude of Abhi. A very intense drama , with emotions on a rampage .. all.. but .. why Abhi ?It’s Abhi’s doings..for reasons known only to him..
One can visualize the future course the serial would take. Only, my fervent prayer is that Bulbul does not step in with another one of her sacrifices… by marrying Suresh, thus ‘saving’ her sister from an unwanted marriage, which she is very capable of doing.Anything , just anything can happen in our serials, especially Ekta’s ….

I’m with you on most of your points… seeing the show is very different from reading the written …
This is the first time Abhi has been egregious and I haven’t gotten angry with his character.
As some commenters have pointed out, he is blackmailing her and essentially kidnapping her too..Minnal’s position is also one I can see.
Abhi really can’t be this stupid..he knows something is up… His pushing Pragya is to see her reactions…he’s trying to find confirmations within them to see truth…He’s got to know she isn’t capable of all this lying… even the comment re her taking his clothes… he may have seen her… they don’t always show us everything…we might see it in a later scene… he deep down trusts her…he knows she’s always been honest with her opinions and has stood up to him in the past. He’s also testing his household members… he sees how the witches are anxiously pushing Pragya out the door…
This was an unexpected twist indeed…If Abhi has really done this in search of the truth… good … if he didn’t then he should be exiled somewhere with Tanu and Aaliya on some God forsaken Isle.

Abhi’s relantlessness in trying to marry off Pragya is getting on my nerve.( I mean ever since the promo came of the Abhi pushing Pragya to remarry, I was hellbent, was wondering what were the show creators smokin’ lol) seriously pissing me off, can he be this blind? Didn’t it once cross he’s mind, if he’s sister and gf has the ability to torture Pragya in front of him, what will they do in a blind spot. I’m hoping that this is all a ruse, he knows everything just trying to draw out the actually culprits.
Pragya’s silence isn’t helping the situation. Given she hasn’t done anything wrong nor should she prove anything to anyone, still her remaining silent is taking a horrible situation and making it worse. She should stand her ground and just leave, she only asked for the divorce in consideration of Abhi’s career but if he continues to be a jerk then there’s no point …
Where is Daadi, ??? The doctors said she’s fine jst need to rest, but it’s been three days !!!
Oh GOD, every time the camera is showing Aliya, Tanu and Matali I just wish I were there. A GOOD SLAPPING AND WHIPPING IS ALL THIS SITUATION NEEDS!!!!

I sincerely hope Abhi is having a good motive to behave so ruthlessly with a girl like this. Other wise OMG he does not deserve Pragya for this behavior.

December 05, 17:22What is it with these serials. Oh my goodness the storylines are all the same. I have watched 3 serials where the marriages are not consumated. Jamai raja,KB and qubool hai . Is this normal in indian traditions. Secondly can they only get close when they fall on each other. Thirdly the plots are shallow which makes the characters look stupid.
Who cares the hell if he leaks the mms, Pragya shouldn’t. All Ahbi cares about is his rock star status. All Aliyah and Tanu care about is his money so let him leak it. He would never do that as it would benefit no one. Who the hell falls for such crap . One word of advice for Zee. Find some serials that make sense and do not let Indians look so shallow. Uplift your race, stop reflecting them as dimwits. The stories repeat the same thing over and over and over, they make me dizzy. Now I have also stopped reading I can find other things to do with my time. For your continued supporters, please producers, writers, directors make the plots real. With all the technology in the world no one can figure that the mms is fake. Also I am sure the cctv tape in the house has more than one copy, so why can’t Pragya request another one..SMH. And if the house has cctv who watches the tapes. And how is it that no remembers that Raj is in jail not even his wife who is so happy.DWL. And why would I stay in a house where all the women hate me? And why can’t Akash remember that he lent Tanu his phone and why isn’t Aliyah mad at Tanu for putting Dadi in a comma.And where does a divorce gets done in one day without any of the parties going to court?And when did marriage become torture?Too many loop holes. Writers go watch Y&R or BB and understand how to closeout scenes. Lol. Stop punishing your committed viewers.
