Kuch Toh Log Kahenge to complete a year today
We have already written about Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai completing a year today. And there is one more show which will achieve an identical feat. Yes, Sony Entertainment Television’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge (produced by Director’s Kut Productions) will also finish a year of airing today (3 October 2012).
The show is believed to be an adaptation of the very popular Pakistani show Dhoop Kinare. It basically deals with the lives of Dr Ashutosh (Sharad Kelkar) and Dr Nidhi (Kritika Kamra). There was a lot of buzz when Mohnish Bahl, who played Ashutosh earlier, decided to move out, bringing Sharad into the picture.
We talked to the actors of the show and asked them to share their feelings on Kuch Toh completing a year.
Kritika Kamra (Dr Nidhi) said, “Well… the journey has been quite an eventful one. I have loved every part of the show. Each and every moment on the set has been a memorable one. The numbers are also coming now. The time slot changed from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm but I feel the popularity of the show is still intact. We have a set of loyal audiences and I am very happy with the progress of the plot. I am thankful to the fans who keep watching Kuch Toh.”
Sharad Kelkar (Dr Ashutosh) opined, “I am quite elated that the show has completed one year. I have been a part of it since the last few months but I have had a gala time shooting for it. I never thought people will accept and give me so much love after I came in as Dr Ashutosh. The show has been a learning experience. I am thankful to each and everyone associated with the show and definitely the viewers for making it what it is today.”
Vishal Malhotra, who is seen as Dr Rangnath, stated, “I know we started with Mohnish Bahl and we all were closely associated with him. After Mohnish left, Sharad came in and I must say he is a wonderful actor, co-star and an amazing human being. He did put in a lot of effort and we are all happy that the show has reached at this stage today, despite all ups and downs.”
We also tried to get in touch with producer Rajan Shahi but he was busy in a meeting.
