Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 9th July 2012 Written Update

Ashu is telling Nidhi how scared he got. Nidhi is pleasantly surprised to see him walking. Mallika is furious to realise that her plan backfired but Nidhi is delighted and tells her that because of her, she realised how much Ashu loves her. Mallika vows that Nidhi won’t be so lucky next time.

Back home, Nidhi tells Baba she wishes he’d come to the picnic too. While, they’re talking, Nidhi sneezes and Baba realises this must be because of the rain and asks her to take medicines. Nidhi says it was fun to get drenched in the rain though. Mallika also goes and Baba tells Ashu when they’re alone that Dr. Aggrawal has given an appointment for tomorrow. Ashu still has second thoughts about the shock treatment but Baba convinces him. Mallika overhears and vows that she will not let this happen and promises Nidhi silently that she will give her a medicine which will release her from life.

Next morning, Baba catches Mallika near the phone and she lies that she is ordering some medicines for her fever. It takes a while but she finally convinces him and is left alone. She knows she will have to call some chemist who supplies to Kotnis regularly because no other chemist will give her these kinds of medicines without question. She calls up Purohit Medicals and orders the medicines she needs. He tells that these are dangerous medicines and needs prescription. He is reluctant because it is illegal to supply these medicines. But Mallika convinces him and assures that he will get the prescriptions soon.

Nidhi and Ashu discuss that they need to take Mallika to the hospital. Ashu confesses he won’t be able to see Mallika get shock treatment. Nidhi says being a surgeon, he must’ve come across many disturbing sights. Ashu says Mallika is his friend not patient. Nidhi says maybe she won’t need the shock, that will be only decided once the check up is done. Ashu is still reluctant but Nidhi says only he can convince her to come to the hospital, this is beneficial for her since she will get better sooner.

Mallika is sitting in her room nervously. She is obviously tensed. Just then the bell rings and she gets happy. But she has to stop Baba from seeing the medicines since he too is a doctor. She tricks him into going to check something in her room and receives the medicines. As she closes the door, Baba comes and says there is nothing in her room. Mallika acts surprised and says maybe it is a hallucination because of her illness. Baba asks about the bell and she says someone was asking for some address so she told him to ask the next bunglow. Baba feels it is good they got an appointment for today because Mallika seems to be in a bad condition.

Mallika looks at the medicines to mix in Nidhi’s food.

At lunch, Mallika offers to help Nidhi. Nidhi politely refuses and even Ashu insists that she should sit. Baba and Ashu want Nidhi to sit with them as well but she says she’ll eat later since she has to serve them hot food. While Baba and Ashu relish the meal, Mallika looks at the pills.

At the hospital, the chemist tells RN that Mallika had asked for sleeping pills but didn’t give the money or prescription. He is puzzled and wonders who she called it for since she doesn’t need tranquiliser. He calls Mallika but gets a no reply.

Baba and Ashu are enjoying their lunch but Mallika is least interested in their conversation. She keeps thinking about her plan to kill Nidhi.
Meanwhile, RN is getting tensed about the whole issue.

Baba and Ashu are finished with their food and they insist Nidhi should eat, even Mallika. Nidhi says she will after she settles Ashu but Mallika insists she should eat now. Ashu supports her since they later have to go to the hospital for Mallika’s appointment as well. Nidhi is puzzled at Mallika’s approval for the appointment while the latter can’t wait to put her plan in action.
A reluctant Nidhi is forced to eat by everyone and RN still can’t reach Mallika. Nidhi sits to eat but she insists on taking Ashu in first and this time, Mallika doesn’t say anything. Rather she encourages a puzzled Nidhi to go ahead.

To Mallika’s delight, Baba also goes to wash his hands. She looks at the sleeping pills in her hands. She pours some vegetables in a bowl and looks at the sleeping pills in her fist.
