The CM’s son insists that he has to operate on the CM and it has to be kept a secret. Not only that, he has to be successful. He threatens him that he will ruin Ashu if anything goes wrong and this leaves him tensed. Ashu calls up fellow doctors for assistance but unfortunately, none of them can come to his rescue.
The CM is brought to the hospital under tight security. RN informs Nidhi that Ashu has called an emergancy meeting of all doctors in the conference room. Ashu tries opening his sling but his arm hurts and Nidhi is horrified at this action of his.
Everyone gathers in the conference room and Ashu discusses the case with them. He orders them to stay in the room till the operation is done since he cannot allow the information to leak. He also needs an assistant to help him explaining the risks involved. Everyone seems apprehensive and finally, Nidhi comes forward and volunteers, if he thinks fit. She cannot see him and the hospital so helpless and since no one else is willing to come forward so she wants to volunteer.
Ashu has a brainstorming session with Nidhi explaining every minor detail and possible scenario during the operation so that she is fully prepared. The OT is being prepared for the surgery while AshNi discuss the intricacies and nuances of the case. By the end of it, Ashu is happy with Nidhi’s preparation and Nidhi seems confident too.
Before Ashu and Nidhi can approach the OT, they are stopped by the CM’s son who seems furious at Ashu’s decision of having Nidhi assist him since she is not a neurosurgeon and a newly qualified doctor. Ashu snaps back at them saying no other neurosurgeon is ready to assist him specially thanks to their threats and he cannot wait for the doctors they’ve arranged to assist him. Nidhi is the only one available. Nidhi wants to talk to Ashu alone.
When alone, Nidhi asks Ashu if he is sure she wants to assist him, she will not feel bad. Ashu asks her not to insult his intelligence; he didn’t take this decision because Nidhi is his wife but because as a neurosurgeon, he trusts her capabilities and he knows how she was a favourite with the surgeons back when she was an intern. Ashu puts this final decision to the CM’s son and manager and leave without wasting time and without giving a hoot to everyone’s apprehensions.
The surgery begins and so does a tensed time for everyone. The CM’s son seems more tensed than the doctors in the OT. Unfortunately, the news leaks and the media reaches Kotnis, bombarding the CM’s son and manager with questions. The CM’s son asks RN to give the media the statement that the CM is here only for a regular check up. RN does as he is told and handles to media very politely. But just then, his entire family arrives and the media refuses to buy this statement. However, their questions are left unanswered hereof. In the OT, AshNi are hard at work.
The CM’s family share the typical ‘family in trouble’ moment and give each other support in this tough time. The CM’s manager tells them that it is impossible to keep the media in the dark now and his son is furious because he knows that someone from the opposition must’ve leaked something.
While AshNi continue to work, the other doctors in the conference room are also having a tensed time. Ashu seems to be happy with the surgery but just as he is about to give the CM’s family the good news, Nidhi notices the CM’s pulse dropping and informs Ashu who is shocked and tensed.
Precap: Despite AshNi’s best efforts, the CM doesn’t respond to the treatment and Ashu tells Nidhi it’s of no use. He gives the CM’s son the bad news who seems to be devastated.
