Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 24th October 2012 Written Update

Ashu tells Nidhi that DB is overreacting regarding Khushi. Nidhi tries to defend DB subtlely and begs Ashu to bear for a while but Ashu gets offended as he doesn’t want Khushi to feel bad either. Nidhi tries to calm Ashu down but he is still upset. Nidhi begs Ashu to make Khushi stay away from DB. He finally calls Khushi and asks her to stay away from DB as much as possible till they become friends. But he manages to say it in a way which makes Khushi happy and she agrees. Nidhi thanks Ashu but he is a little cold to her (So this time Nidhi is the mature one).
Baba and Khushi are playing Ludo where Khushi is beating Baba. DB sees them enjoying and reminds Baba that it is time for his medicine. Baba is more than happy about the distraction. DB tells Khushi that Baba needs rest. Khushi asks DB to play with her and with much reluctance on Baba’s insistence, she agrees.
At Kotnis, someone comes looking for Nidhi and meets Priyanka. The woman insists that she wants to show Dr. Nidhi only who saved the CM’s life no matter how much she has to wait. Ashu overhears this and feels happy.
Khushi and DB are playing Ludo where Khushi is losing badly which is making her grumpy and DB happy. But in the last turn, Khushi changes the dice from 6 to 4. DB is surprised at this but Khushi owns up that she cheated. DB is amused instead of being angry. Khushi refuses to play with her more since she plays better. Nidhi calls up and they use her as the middle-person in their fight. DB goes to do preparations for puja. Nidhi tells Khushi that she saved her from losing and now she will have to not spoil DB’s puja. Khushi michieviously says that she can only try.
In the evening, the puja starts where DB is singing and Khushi is ringing the temple bell (that small one I dunno what it’s called) and both are having this ‘who is louder’ kind of competition. Nidhi finally switches on the taperecorder. However, this isn’t the end of the fight. Khushi takes a big amount of the prasad and gets into an argument with DB. Nidhi tries to stop them by talking about the kunwari bhoj (the one where girls are fed). DB has already arranged for the girls and goes to get them. But Ashu thinks she doesn’t need to go so far when Khushi is already there in the house. Nidhi says DB will never do Khushi’s puja.
Next morning, DB is preparing for kunwari bhoj and there is a lot of food around. Khushi goes to take some and DB scolds her for touching it. When the girls arrive, they’re only 5. The 6th one has fallen ill and can’t come. This upsets DB. Baba suggests to take Khushi instead and DB is obviously not too pleased with the suggestion and tries to look for other alternatives but in vain. The writers manage to drop a subtle hint on the larger issue of the lack of girls because of parents preferring a male child (Very impressive move).
Finally, DB agrees to take in Khushi as the 6th girl. DB keeps a hand on Khushi’s head and Khushi says that now she can’t get angry with her. DB assures her that this will only last till the puja and not a minute extra.
DB prepares and starts washing the girls’ feet before they sit to eat. When Khushi’s turn comes, she manages to be mischievious asking DB to wash her feet properly since it’s dirty everywhere. DB looks frustrated and the episode freezes on Khushi’s face who has a satisfied smile on her face.

Precap: Khushi is, as usual, throwing around tantrums about the food she is served
