Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 20th August 2012 Written Update

Nidhi tells Ashu that they will live their life which has no place for Mallika. Ashu promises he will adhere to her wishes. Nidhi hugs Ashu gratefully and suggests they should sleep. They hit the bed and share a romantic moment before falling asleep.

Next morning, RN meets Nidhi at the admin office and she gives him a brief of what happened while he was away. RN is happy with Nidhi’s performance and wishes her luck for the internship.
Ashu gets a call from DB. CS and DB have some plan up their sleeves and CS is urging her to start coughing but she wants to talk first. She asks about Nidhi and asks them both to come over and meet. Ashu promises to try. When DB hangs up, CS is not to happy that she didn’t execute her plan but she snubs him back.

RN gets a call from Anji in office and she asks if she can go for shopping since she is bored. Ashu comes and overhears RN having a cute bicker with Anji about maid-servant. He remembers promising Mallika that he’ll arrange one for her as well. After he hangs up, he notices Ashu. He says he wants a maid-servant too for a friend. RN gives him the number. Ashu asks for Nidhi and RN says she’s all over the hospital these days so it’s tough to locate her.

Ashu finally finds Nidhi and once she’s free, he tells her about DB’s call and how she wants them to come over. He says he can go but she seems so busy that even me might need an appointment Sister calls Nidhi since a patient needs her and she tells him she’ll meet him in the evening. Before going, she sees Ashu a little disappointed and gives him a reassuring smile which cheers him up.
In his cabin, Ashu calls up the maid-service and asks for a full-time maid. He explains the requirements and it is all arranged. After that, he calls up Mallika and tells her that he has found a full-time maid for her and asks if everything’s fine since she picked up the phone after so long. Mallika says everything’s fine but he is not convinced. She tells him she was bleeding a bit and this alarms Ashu. He insists on coming over and asks her to rest.

As Ashu leaves, Jagan spots and follows him.

RN again gets a call from Anji who is still bored even after doing all the housework. RN is a little stressed since he is very busy. He suggests Anji should start a job too so that she stays occupied as well. Anji likes the idea and promises to seriously consider it.

Jagan is following Ashu and sees the house where Mallika is. Ashu gives Mallika her medicines. Meenaxi aka Maxi enters as Mallika’s maid (interesting character). She has a funny introduction with Ashu and he explains about what she needs to do for Mallika. Maxi seems to find Ashu hot. and Mallika is stern with her. Ashu insists on paying Maxi’s salary but Mallika says she has the money. Ashu takes a leave and Maxi is totally smitten by himMallika can’t hide her amusement of Maxi but explains her her work.

Jagan watches Ashu leave and says that he cannot save Mallika now.

Back at Kotnis, RN tells Nidhi that Dr. Gandhi at the OT wants her to assist him. Nidhi is reluctant since Ashu is waiting for her at home but RN assures her Ashu won’t feel bad since it’s a emergency. Nidhi calls Ashu to inform him about the operation so she will reach home late. Ashu is upset but doesn’t let it show. He assures her that he is proud of her. He wants to talk to her a bit but she is getting late for the surgery and says she’ll talk at home. Ashu feels guilty for hiding something from Nidhi specially about Mallika. He doesn’t want her to feel bad.

Precap: Jagan is banging the door to Mallika’s room. She calls up Ashu in the middle of the night in a terrified state. Ashu reaches her house and furiously shouts out to Jagan.
