Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 19th September 2012 Written Update

Ashu gets shot on his arm and Nidhi screams for him while everyone else is dumstruck as Ashu falls on the ground.Bajrang runs away and the inspector orders his men to chase him. RN and Nidhi rush to tend to Ashu and Nidhi hugs him. The police catches Amar but Nidhi says he fulfilled his promise and is innocent and hugs Ashu again. Amar is sad for himself but happy seeing Nidhi happy.
The inspector catches Bajrang.

Back at the hospital, Amar apologises to Nidhi but she says that because of him she realised what Ashu means to her and how she cannot stand to lose him. Amar hopes that her married life never gets another Amar and they exchange an emotional goodbye. Nidhi advises him not to follow his brother’s footsteps and he says that path was closed the day he saw her and leaves.

Nidhi goes to Ashu’s cabin but keeps standing outside. Just as she is about to knock, Ashu opens the door and asks her why she is not at her duty. They talk like typical head-intern and continue their banters in a fun manner, it’s a cute bicker. RN comes in and is surprised to find AshNi still fighting. In the process, Nidhi gets a little hurt and leaves. RN thinks that these two will never improve. Ashu’s arm pains.

Nidhi’s and Ashu’s family are in the hospital when Nidhi walks past them and DB wonders what’s wrong with her.

Nidhi goes home and climbs into her bed, upset. DB comes and tells her she knows she is only pretending to sleep and asks her to talk to her. Nidhi says nothing is the matter but DB doesn’t buy it. She wonders why AshNi fight so much and she is surprised that Nidhi started off again just as he has had such a narrow escape.Nidhi complains that everyone always sees her faults, Ashu didn’t even ask her how she felt and started scolding her when she was equally tensed here. DB is amused and comforts Nidhi that such bickers are a sign of love between husband and wife. But Nidhi is stubborn and switched off her phone saying she wants to sleep and doesn’t want to talk.

Ahana tells Ashu that Nidhi stayed awake for him the whole night in this cabin; she loves him a lot. Ashu is disinterested though. RN asks Ashu why he didn’t go home since this work can happen tomorrow as well. Ashu says he has some other work so he is winding this up. As Ahana leaves, RN asks why he and Nidhi fought again. Ashu says they didn’t fight, just had an argument RN says that after all that happened, their shouldn’t be an argument either. Ashu is left pondering.

Next morning, Ashu reaches Kotnis and starts his day. He goes looking for Nidhi but sees she hasn’t reached yet.

At Nidhi’s, everyone’s wondering why Nidhi isn’t up yet and DB thinks she must be decking herself up since she is a girl. CS goes to check on her but just then, DB and Yuvraj spot her leaving and are puzzled. CS also finds Nidhi missing from her room and a letter. He gives it to Yuvraj. He reads the letter, surprised.

Ashu calls RN and tells him Nidhi hasn’t reached yet. RN says she SMSed him for a few days off and he approved. Ashu is surprised. Once RN leaves, Ashu’s calls Nidhi’s home and Yuvraj picks up. He wants to talk to Nidhi but is told that Nidhi left in the morning without informing. Ashu also tells Yuvraj she has taken an off from the hospital. Her phone is also switched off. Yuvraj reads Nidhi’s note to him which tells all of them not to worry about her and then a riddle involving drinking something and ginger. Ashu smirks knowingly. He says he might know where she might be and hangs up. He thinks aloud that he knows where Nidhi has gone.

Ashu reaches their favourite tea-stall. The stall-owner tells him he was waiting since ‘madam’ had told he’ll come for ginger-tea. He tells Ashu that Nidhi had come in the morning. Ashu tells him that his tea had united him and Nidhi and happily sips the tea he is served, recalling all the times he spent here with Nidhi. A flashback is shown on the stall where Ashu and Nidhi are wanting to say something to each other. Back to present, Ashu asks the stall-owner where Nidhi is but he doesn’t know. Instead, he hands him the bill saying Nidhi said he’ll pay.
Ashu opens the bill and finds a note which has another riddle. He tries deciphering it.

Precap: Ashu reaches a romantically decorated place. He pulls on a dupatta and someone is holding it from the other end (They didn’t show the face but I’m sure it’s Nidhi. Who else can it be?).
