Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 18th July 2012 Written Update

Ashu checks his phone and is shocked to see that someone has shopped for Rs. 1 lac off hsi credit card.

Mr. S and Shyama get a dance teacher who tries to teach them to dance but it is not an easy task as Mr. S is not an easy student. Nidhi and Anji come with a ton of shopping and Shyama is shocked to see so much shopping. Shyama asks them to come fast for dance practice. RN also joins them and he and Anji share a cute eyelock. Mr. S is disgusted at this, Nidhi surprised and Shyama finally snaps them out

Everyone starts rehearsing for the sangeet. Nidhi gets a call from Ashu but she can’t hear what he is saying because of the loud music. She tells him she’ll talk to him at home and hangs up. Nidhi rushes off home because Ashu’s call gives her an uneasy feeling and the teacher is left to have a tough time with the rest of the gang.

Ashu is positively annoyed as Nidhi brags about her shopping. Ashu scolds Nidhi for her impulsive shopping and is angry because she has no value for money. Nidhi argues with him and unknowingly, subtly points out the generation gap between them when it comes to wants and needs. The argument ends on a bitter note as Ashu storms out of the room and Nidhi gets upset.

Next day, Mr. S, Yuvraj, DB and Anji are discussing dance practices. Everyone is pulling Mr. S’s leg and he is being quite unsporting about it. RN arrives and everyone but Mr. S (of course) is happy to see him. RN makes an excuse of getting shagun for coming early in the morning. He takes Anji to the side and confesses that it is not shagun but chocolates for her. They share a cute moment.

At Kotnis, AshNi arrive, still upset with each other. They talk through Dr. Jyotika and Jyotika is puzzled.

Jyotika and Priyanka are talking about how AshNi are in a bad mood and assume that they’ve had a fight. Priyanka understands and says that married couples keep fighting so it isn’t a big deal as long as they don’t choose them to take out their frustration.

Nidhi tells Anji on the phone about her ‘cold war’ with Ashu. Anji invites her for an overnight stay at her place after sangeet and DB snatches the phone and asks her to stay till the wedding. Nidhi is not too sure and says she will think about it, she has to ask Ashu first. DB isn’t too pleased with this. Anji takes the phone back and Nidhi promises to try her best but isn’t too sure. Nidhi wonders how she will ask Ashu with their fight. She wonders why she should always ask him about everything but then he will feel bad.

Ashu is explaining a case to Priyanka and Jyotika when Nidhi enters. Ashu asks Nidhi to wait and continues talking to the two doctors. Nidhi feels bad because of this. After waiting for a long time, Nidhi leaves Ashu’s cabin. Meanwhile, Ashu finishes his meeting with Jyotika and Priyanka and wonders where Nidhi has disappeared to. He goes out of his cabin to look for Nidhi over the hospital. A wardboy informs him that Nidhi has left.

In the evening, Nidhi packs her bags and tells Baba that she is going to Anji’s house. Baba encourages her to stay there a few days and asks about Ashu.

Nidhi says Ashu was too busy so she just came, she doesn’t know if he will come or not. As she is about to leave, Baba asks her what the matter is since she seems upset. Nidhi assures him that she is fine and leaves but he doesn’t seem convinced.

Ashu returns home, tired. Baba is puzzled seeing his lack of energy. Ashu is looking for Nidhi. Baba tells him that she has gone for Anji’s sangeet and will stay there till the wedding. This shocks, upsets and angers Ashu.
