Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 10th October 2012 Written Update

Khushi asks for her noodle khichidi and Ashu says he has got the secret recipe now.
Nidhi comes to RN’s cabin to inform him that she has done her work and wants to leave. RN is impressed with her efficiency and notices her looking very happy. Nidhi tells him that Ashu is cooking noodle khichidi for her and at this RN bursts out laughing. She tells him that he should ask Ashu and do something like this sometimes for Anji.

Khushi is hungry and Ashu gets her noodle khichidi ready. Khushi likes the khichidi and eats it eagerly. Ashu goes to work after Khushi assures him she’ll eat the khichidi. Khushi is very hungry so she goes to the kitchen to take more. However, the pan is heavy and by mistake, Khushi drops the pan and spills the noodles on the floor.

Nidhi comes home looking for noodle khichidi. Khushi tells her she ate the entire khichidi and Ashu is taken aback since he had cooked a lot of it. Ashu apologises to Nidhi and she manages to be sporting and goes to cook something else for herself. Khushi looks guilty.
Mr. S is happy that RanJi are shifting to theirs. Anji gives the entire credit to RN for this decision. This elevates him in Mr. S’s eyes and Anji is amused at the amount of love her father is showering on her husband, something which doesn’t appeal to RN.

Nidhi seems upset but Ashu manages to cheer her up saying he can make noodle khichidi for her every night and gives her ice-cream. Ashu tells Nidhi that Khushi opened the doors to his childhood, a time when he used to almost starve for food rather than enjoy chocolates and ice-cream. He never craved for them but today while eating ice-cream with Khushi he realise how he had lost his childhood. He also tells her about how Khushi had mentioned about a nickname for him from Nidhi. Nidhi admits she feels weird too but she doesn’t like the names like ‘sweetheart’ and ‘darling’. Ashu suggests that she can call him Ashu alone and Nidhi seems excited at calling him Ashuji. They share a cute romantic conversation while he feeds her ice-cream but Nidhi cuts it midway.

Nidhi goes to keep the ice-cream bowl and looks at the empty pan of noodle khichidi. Just as she is about to leave, she spots all the food in the dustbin and gets annoyed at Khushi. She goes to Khushi’s room and sees her sleeping. Nidhi asks herself to calm down as it is temporary. She leaves and Khushi wakes up, she wasn’t asleep. She gives a naughty smile and starts fiddling around a bit.

Next morning, Nidhi wakes up alone and looks around for Ashu. It is only 6.15am. She can find neither Khushi nor Ashu and wonders where they are.
At the Solankis, Mr. S makes poor RN eat a bit too healthy of a breakfast without any fat.
Ashu and Khushi return home from a walk. Ashu tells Nidhi they’ve decided to make their lifestyle a little healthy so they went for morning exercise. Khushi says they’re doctors and should take care of their health. Ashu says Nidhi has made him eat and eat and become lazy. Nidhi says that from now on he will only get karele ka juice and at this, both Ashu and Khushi try to calm her.

After much difficulty, RN finishes his breakfast and leaves for the hospital Shyama wonders if they’re making a mistake by letting RanJi shift with them; it might cause a rift between them. Mr. S brushes away all her fears.

Khushi tells Baba that Ashu had karele ka juice with much difficulty. Baba has this disgusted face but then it breaks into a smile as he realises that this is something even he couldn’t make him do. Nidhi’s mood seems slightly off though. AshNi both have busy duties today and Baba assures them that he will take care of Khushi. Khushi says she knows she is problematic since she isn’t cute and adorable like the other kids. Nidhi thinks that the noodle khichidi incident will really hurt Ashu. She wonders what Khushi wants.
