Nandini asks Naren why does he get scared hearing the name of his father, Naren replies he respects his father a lot, Nandini questions then why does he hesitate to talk with his father, Naren replies he does not have habit of it and the relation in their society has been for so many decades, so ever since from his childhood whatever he wants to say is through his mother and it is the ease of communication. Naren mentions he still works with his father but the choice of words is very low in their life. Nandini asks him to tell her about his family as she wants to meet then through his eyes. Naren says his family is very large and he does not know where to start, Nandini suggests they should first sit down there, Nandini explains they should start from where the entire life starts meaning his mother, they both leave.

Nandini asks Naren to tell about his mother, he says Chanchal HemRaj Ratansi and a mother is special for every child but the heart of his mother is very beautiful and she knows how to decorate the house and even herself, Samta brings the tea for Chanchal and she says that today is Tuesday so Samta mentions she knows what to make however she will apply the final touches to the lentils. Naren says she gets ready twice in a day, Samta says Chanchal is very beautiful but does she not get tired, Chanchal replies that it is important that the women of the house remains ready as due to it even the house looks pretty, she asks Samta to properly keeps her dress. Samta picks the tray but she sees HemRaj and so praises him before leaving, Chanchal says he got a bit late but HemRaj informs a lot of the designs came of the jewelry so he got a bit late selecting the best set for her, saying that Chanchal is not a normal person. Mr HemRaj opens the set seeing which Chanchal gets a bit nervous, Mr HemRaj makes her wear the set with his own hands, she says it is very beautiful. Mr HemRaj says there is just one thing left, she asks what is left now when HemRaj says just as they keep the jewellery in safe then they should even hide their beauty, he covers the head of Chanchal with the saree saying that no evil eye should befall them as the women of the big families look good in the veil.he asks if she is happy when she agrees to it so he also starts smiling.

Nandini asks Naren if HemRaj is the eldest in the house but Naren replies that Baa is the eldest and her name is Anousya but she is the step mother of his father who loves his father the most and for him Anousya Baa is everything. Naren says he is a step son which is why he has a lot of burden so still no decision is made without the decision of Anousya baa.

Anousya Baa is sitting when the glass drops so she scolds him saying that if he steps in her room then would pay, Samta is walking when she drops the glass after hitting Kunu, Anousya Baa scolds her saying this was the new set which she broke, Anousya calls her Hetal saying Samta does not know how to behave and she just does not say anything to Kunu who keeps ruining things and asks where is Hetal, Samta mentions she is right here as Baa should at least see before speaking, she would go on a yatra if she gets two praises.

Nandini is making the house of mud when Naren says that it will wash out with the tides however Nandini replies that it does not ruin if their thoughts are adamant, Naren says just like his Hetal and Samta aunt. Samta comes to the kitchen saying that she does not have any respect in the house because Anousya Baa kept thinking she is Hamta and was saying bad things about her. Naren says Dhawal is the husband of Hetal and the husband of Samta is Virel Kaka, both are the biological sons of Anousya but consider his father as their own and if Dhawal feels then would not even let his father pick his shoes.

Dhawal is working on the shoes when his son enters the cabin seeing which Dhawal questions if he cannot knock before entering and what did , Dhawal takes out the shoes saying HemRaj does not leave any chance to prove he is a step son and the son of Dhawal says that this is because he just keeps accepting the orders, Dhawal replies that all the business and property of Ratansi family is in his name, Naren is younger but still controls a lot of business, his son says that both Dhawal and Virel are actual brothers otherwise HemRaj is step but Dhawal says that he should just keeps his eyes open.

Naren says that Virel is the youngest and he likes one thing more then any other which is his sleep and no one can stop him from sleeping even the Bhagwan.

Virel is sleeping when Samta runs to the room asking him to wake up as HemRaj is coming and he enters before Virel can change the clothes, HemRaj says he came home to have lunch at one o clock but right now is five yet he is still asleep, HemRaj questions what happened to the meeting which was about to happen at four, Virel replies he does not know when he went to sleep, HemRaj replies he does not get sleepy before eating or asking for money, Samta starts crying but HemRaj says that it is her duty to wake him if he sleeps after having lunch. HemRaj says that this month his salary would be deducted and only then would he understand the truth of working. Nandini says that she feels that his family is so loving. Naren remembers when Hetal was about to leave and refused to have any relation with Dhawal but his father said that he would not let anything wrong happen to his family and they should not reveal it in front of everyone, Hetal said that she returned only because of HemRaj but would not form any relation with Dhawal. Naren says that he just got lost in the memory of his family, Vinet calls Naren asking where are they both when Naren says that they are just coming so asks Nandini if they should go, she says their conversation was interrupted but Naren replies they would complete it in Upleta.

Naren praises the cooking of Manri especially her mashed dish but Manri says that she will even pack the dish for him, Manri asks Ishwar to see telling Naren that they cannot even tell the difference. Manri asks Nandini if Vinet and Visakha were able to perform the ritual peacefully, Nandini replies that they will even leave for Rajkot. Naren says he would also leave tonight because his life has changed a lot in the past few days which he would tell to them all, Ishwar leaves with Manri and Mitesh, Nandini requests Naren to not leave tonight as it is very late and even the way is difficult so she requests him to at least accept this small request.
