Khoobsurat 17th April 2013 Written Episode

Episode starts with dadiji sitting in a wheelchair at the door step. She tells Bharti that she should start the preparation of welcoming thier new daughter in law. Saying so, she calls out “BAHOO”. Aradhya enters in a beautiful yellow saree with her face covered with pink chunni. Dadi asks Bharti to do her aarti. Bharti nods and does her aari. Prerna keeps the kalash. Dadi says “Bahu, drop the kalash with your left foot. It is auspicious. The couple’s relation goes till many more lives.” (Pati patni ka atoot bandhan janmo tak chalta hai.) Aradhya does her grih pravesh. Prerna keeps the kumkum thali and Aradhya comes in. Everybody standing outside (Brij, Rahul and Madhav) come inside. Bharti is still upset.

Prerna tells Pallavi that the guests have already. You bring Aradhya down. Bharti is shown thinking, “How is this possible? How did Aradhya agree to come?” Brij comes there and asks her why she is upset? She tells him her thoughts.

The guests starts pouring in, followed by the press. Ajay, Meghna and thier family come. They are all welcomed by Prerna. Rahul brings dadi on her wheelchair and tells her that “All the preparation is done. Do you want anything else?” Dadi says smilingly, “Don’t ask me, ask the guests who have come to see my bahoo.” That is when Bharti comes and asks dadi, ” Maa, why did you come out? You are supposed to rest. You are still very weak. You rest. Come.” Dadi nods saying, ” I don’t need rest, I need peace, which I will get by witnessing my bahu’s rasams. You do your preparations and see that you don’t miss anything.” Saying so she leaves towards the hall. When someone says, ” See Bahurani is here.” Bharti, Rahul and all look up at her. Aradhya is shown coming in the same yellow saree with her face still covered with the pink chunni. Everyone is seen happy. Meghna sits by Aradhya’s side. Brij comes with Prerna and Madhav. Aradhya is visibly angry. Rahul stands next to madhav.

A lady says, “Bhartiji, what are you thinking about? Start the muh dikhai.” Bharti uncovers Aradhya’s face. Everybody keeps on looking at Aradhya happily. Bharti awkwardly covers her face again and goes away. Another woman says, “Bharti, your bahu is very beautiful. She is chand ka tukda.” They keep on praising her. A lady says, “Rahul, why don’t you sit with Aradhya.” Aradhya is scared. The press girl asks rahul if they can click a pic of both of them.” Dadi says, “Beta, go sit with bahu.” Periwal family is tensed. Madhav walks toward Aradhya and sits next to her. Everyone is confused. While sitting, Madhav’s hand brushes with that of Aradhya. Aradhya is visibly uncomfortable. Meghna places her hand over Aradhya’s shoulder to support her.

A lady asks, “What is this happening? How come madhav is sitting with bahu? Rahul is married to her, isn’t it?” Aradhya closes her eyes out of shame and discomfort. A press lady asks, “Sir, ehsas got married, right? Which means you.” (pointing towards Rahul). rahul comes ahead and says, “Yes you are right, Aradhya is married to Ehsas. Because I’m not Ehsas. madhav is ehsas.” Everyone is shocked. Periwals are smiling. dadi tells everyone “Ehsas and Aradhya love each other, hence we got them married. And the decision was taken last moment. I request you all to shower your blessings on them.” Everybody are smiling now. a woman goes ahead for muh dikhai and praises Aradhya’s beauty. Another woman asks Bharti what is she giving her bahu on her muh dikhai? The third woman says- she’ll give her the lockers keys. That is the best gift. A woman says “Bharti, your coming generation will be beautiful like bahu and intelligent like Madhav.” Another woman says, “what if it goes vis-a-versa?” and they all start laughing. Bharti is angry. Dadi calls out Rahuland asks him to take her towards Aradhya. Madhav tries getting up but dadi stops him. dadi does the muhdikhai rasam and gives Aradhya thier khandani necklase and blesses her. Aradhya closes the box and keeps it aside.

Next is the “ring dhundo” rasam. Dadi asks the couple to sit opposite each other. Meghna tells Ajay that she cant see Aradhya so helpless.
Pallavi- get ready all, lets see who wins.
Ajays mom- Aradhya will win, right?
Bharti puts in the ring.
Pallavi- Bhabi, don’t loose. Or else, you’ll have to listen to him your whole lifetime.
dadi- My madhav is like a cow. Anyway lets start the rasam.
Aradhya smiles. Madhav and Aradhya put in thier hands in the milk bowl. They start finding the ring when madhav’s hand comes near Aradhya’s and Aradhya removes her hand. They both look at each other.

PRECAP: Dadi says “The groom will now carry the bride in his arms. Ajay’s mom says, “This rasam is very important. It is to win your wife’s trust.” Madhav carries Aradhya and everyone clap thier hands. MaYa are awkward but still Aradhya manages to smile.
