Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 25th March 2020 Written Episode

The show opens in Delhi.

A young enthusiastic girl working on a home design on her computer. She decides to play a Buddha statue in a corner, as it seemed empty. Her friend Avi says the budget is over, let’s get over with it. She wasn’t convinced, and decides to pay from their own pockets.

Outside, an assistant informs her that Mr. Sumani is here. She says he had a meeting at 5 pm. Mr. Sumani says she doesn’t seem to be a 9-5 worker. She qualifies, she isn’t a late comer and has to go. He offers her dinner together. She apologizes and tells Alisha to fix the meeting as per his convenience tomorrow. In the lift, Avi questions why she didn’t pay heed to such a charming client. Ananya says he was flirtatious, and it’s her anniversary; this evening is only for Rohit.

In the evening, she arrives at the restaurant where she had a reservation with Rohit’s name. She waits for him, till he arrives. He sits beside her and looks on, wondering if he did right. He presents her with the silver jewelry earring he bought for her. She was happy with the present. Rohit says it’s really easy to make her happy, as she never wants expensive jewelry like gold and diamond. The waiters bring drinks for celebration. Rohit jokes that he wish to hold her hand in the middle of a street square and shout how much he loves her, so much that he is arrested for spreading obscenity. They laugh together. Rohit kiss the back of her hand. A couple sitting on a nearby table watches them. The girl complements that this seems to be a perfect couple. They were celebrating three years of their wedding. It’s now Ananya’s turn to present the gift. She reads verses, ‘The night is gone, smile… Deep in the valleys, someone whispers, smile… when there is temple within hearts; why here how reciter calls for prayer, smile…” ~Omar Khayyam. Rohit was excited as she had gifted him Omar Khayyam’s book. He says he had been looking for it for quite some time. She promises him another gift at home. Rohit says he has booked a room. He holds her hand and says he missed her in London during this trip. She says he must have missed her in hotel room. He replies, in the bathroom tub. They laugh. Rohit genuinely says he wish to shout I love you for her, at the corner of River Thames. He wish he go to parks and museums, hands in hands with her. He want to look at those photos with her perspective, to sink in emotions with her during a play, lay in her lap in the Hide Park grass and sleep.

The neighboring table couple discuss they are so much in love with each other. She wish they are also like that.

Rohit receives a call from Bani. Their expressions had changed. Rohit says he is in Tuscans, and in a meeting. He forbids Bani to come here but Bani had cut the call. Rohit was tensed and tells Ananya that Bani is coming over, she wants to have dinner with him. Ananya was saddened and turns to leave. Rohit offers to drop her home. Ananya says she has her car. Rohit confirms, if she loves him. She replies, always. Rohit receives a call from Bani and says he is waiting. Bani instead wanted him home.

At home, Rohit calls Bani. Their daughter comes downstairs, replying he will just be here. Rohit’s wife was angry and asks Rohit where he had been. Rohit replies, he was in a meeting. She shouts that he is a liar and a cheat. He buys expensive earrings as gift for someone. Rohit was taken aback. They laugh together. Rohit was clueless. Bani and her mother tells Rohit that Bani is auditioning her for a quarrelling mother role for her college play. Bani tells Rohit that a friend had seen him buying earrings, whom were they for. Rohit replies, those were for her mother. He gives a jewelry box. His wife didn’t like silver earrings, and says he must have bought gold instead. Bani convinces her that she must value his gesture. Bani apologizes Dad, and says there is another surprise. Their daughter, Nickie appears from upstairs. Rohit was excited to meet his daughter who had reached a day earlier.
Ananya sat alone in her apartment. She rushes to answer a door bell. It was Ava. Ananya asks what she is doing here. She replies, she came to nurse her heart break. She knew this is going to happen, but didn’t want to spoil her happiness earlier. She shows Rohit’s family photo on social media which had been uploaded. They were enjoying Biryani together.

Ava convinces Ananya that anything is better than Rohit for her in such situation. Ananya was convinced that nothing is left in their marriage, that’s why he is with her. He is extremely attached to her daughters. Ava convinces that Rohit has been prolonging the matter for past three years, but he will never marry her. Ananya says she doesn’t want marriage, she and Rohit love each other and are enough for one another. She has earned everything in the house, Rohit has not given anything. She doesn’t want a husband who would earn, they discuss paintings and books. Ava says there is so much, we, in her talks. But nothing is visible. Ananya says Rohit shares a lifetime of love with her in two hours only, she doesn’t want him to live with her all day long. Ava says Ananya needs to realize, she isn’t a wife, or a girlfriend; just a dirty secret of Rohit. In office, she herself said that they are artists, they never compromise; but in relationship Ananya is only a lone, weak lady.

At night, Ananya stood in the window, drinking. She recalls her first meeting with Rohit. She had gone to see his office, and wanted to know about him. He was startled. Ananya said, it’s his office; the design must reflect his personality. Later, Rohit had discussed about a painting. She was astonished. He said, he knew he was a chartered accountant, but he always wanted to study design and be an architect. Ananya read, ‘What amount of change is needed to live a life; O’ life…” Rohit completed the verse, “O’ life, let some of myself be alive in me”. They had smiled together.

Ananya now opens up Rohit’s photos on his social media account. She goes into a flashback where she was designing and finalizing his office. She zooms a photo and spots his wife wearing the same earrings as he had gifted her. She recalls how Rohit had told her that there was nothing left in his marriage. She cries silently, remembering Rohit had proposed her.

Rohit was with Ananya in the room. She was working. Rohit told Ananya that he had planned to marry her in December in London, amidst snowfall. But Nickie has exams of 12th this year. He regretted meeting her so late in life, and marrying Poonam so early. Ananya had replied they can marry next years, exams are important. In another flashback, Rohit told her about his mother’s ill health. Ananya had consoled that their marriage can wait.

At home, Rohit sends a text message. He hears a loud voice. Poonam had fallen from a shelf in the kitchen. Rohit carries her in the room. He sits beside her to apply the ointment. Poonam says they must speak to Aarya’s parents about Bani and Aarya wedding. Aarya is going abroad for studies, they must get them engaged. Rohit says they must let him go, and will discuss it when he returns. Poonam says it seems everything has happened between Bani and Aarya already. Rohit was furious, and asks where she had been, Bani is a child. Poonam was convinced that there is a generation gap between their and the children’s generation.

Bani was talking on phone to a friend. She comes to the hall. She reads Ananya’s reply to Rohit, I love so too… very very much.
