The Episode starts with Kesari and Anjani getting surprised seeing Mahadev’s rudra avatar. Kesari says we had seen 10 rudraksha, you got 10 flowers for puja, 10 diyas lightening up itself at once. Anjani says it is all Mahadev’s Maya. He says we were about to go to Rishi Matang’s Ashram, but destiny brought us here. Anjani says the bull will take us to our destination. She thinks if the bull is the avatar of nandi maharaj and tells Kesari. She asks bull to give its introduction. The bull becomes Nandi surprising them. Anjani says she is feeling blessed seeing him. Kesari asks what is the purpose of his darshan. Nandi asks them to bring Maruti to this cave and tell him story of Mahadev’s 10 rudra avatar and says he will write history in the future, and will make vanar clan proud. Anjani asks really? She says can we describe Rudra avatar of Mahadev as our knowledge is limited. Nandi says where else Maruti will get knowledge than from his mother. She says you have to take Mahadev’s name from your heart then the divine knowledge about Mahadev will be on your lips. Anjani feels blessed. She prays to Mahadev to give her the divine knowledge. She chants om Namashivay and the divine knowledge is showered on her. Anjani turns to Nandi and says she is feeling that her inner heart is silent and she don’t have any questions now. She thanks Mahadev. Kesari also thanks Mahadev. Nandi says you are ready for this divine work, but remember that there are some strict rules of this katha. He asks her to start the story with sunrise and ends it with sunset, and Maruti have to fast during that time and then you have to ask him what he has learnt. Anjani says she is read. Nandi leaves.
Devi Parvati tells Mahadev that Maruti will get knowledge hearing your katha and asks how it will benefit Maruti. Mahadev tells that the time is near when Ram avatar will make this world free from the evil Ravan. He says Krishna will take his avatar as Shri Ram and we have to train Maruti so that he protects the devotees of Ram. Devi Parvati asks what is the intention to ask Maruti, what he learnt with the divine knowledge. Mahadev says Maruti has to prove that he is competent for the divine knowledge. He says it won’t be easy for Maruti to understand the katha and it will be test for Maruti’s intelligence. He says after gaining the knowledge, Maruti will get closer to present himself to take care of Shri Ram.
Anjani brings Maruti to the cave and tells that she will tell him the story of Mahadev’s 10 rudra avatar. She says before that, they will do the aarti of Mahadev. She does the aarti of all the rudra avatar’s idols. Maruti smiles and folds his hands. Anjani finishes the aarti and says lets begin the katha. She says first I will bring the first katha, which is Nandi Avatar. She tells him katha of Rishi Shilad, who was brahmachari, but wanted a son and did tapasya of brahma dev. Brahmadev came infront of him and asks him to open his eyes. Rishi Shilad asks him to give him a son who has won from death. Brahma dev says he is bounded by destiny and it is very difficult for him to give this boon. He asks him to pray to Mahadev. Rishi Shilad prayed to Mahadev and does his tapasya for years, but Shiv didn’t appear before him. Devi Parvati felt bad and asks Mahadev, why he can’t hear Rishi Shilad’s prayers. Mahadev tells that Rishi Shilad’s tapasya is completed now. Anjani says Mahadev appeared before Rishi Shilad and asks him to open his eyes. Rishi Shilad got teary eyes and forgot his wish to get a son won from death, but he asked Mahadev to give him a son like him. Later, he gets a son from the fire and greets Rishi Shilad. Rishi Shilad thanks Mahadev and hugs his son. Maruti smiles.
