Kavita Kaushik robbed mid air
Kavita Kaushik (aka Chandramukhi Chautala from SAB TV) is a sad woman today. Reason? This highly talented actress was robbed last night (5 November 2012) when she was returning from Delhi to Mumbai by air.
“I had gone on a break period up north. My mom had given me 3-4 pair of clothing (dresses, jeans etc) and I had put them in a paper bag and stuffed them in my suitcase. However… I did not lock the suitcase when I checked in my luggage at Delhi airport,” shared Kavita with us.
So when did you notice the theft and have you reported it to the concerned authorities?
“I found out about it only when I reached home (Mumbai). I don’t think I have time to file a complaint as I am shooting today. In a way, I should bless my stars for I had Rs 3 lacs in cash as well in the same bag. Luckily the thief did not know about it and just left with the clothes. Having said that it is not about the money but the fact that my mom gave those clothes to me adds emotional value to it. ”
Here Kavita forcefully added, “What really annoys me is the fact that people who can travel by air still resort to such actions. I am not even sure that my clothes will fit most women as I am on the taller side.”
Kavita who will now always lock her bag is also upset at the national airliner for their negligence of safety protocol. “I don’t think I will be travelling with the Maharaja again anytime soon,” ended Kavita.
