Scene 1
Kashi is sitting alone sadly. Radha comes there and says Baji has given me a new hope today, God does make you pay. She coughs so Kashi gives her water and says you are right, God does help others, one day he will listen to me and then everyone will know that I did what a daughter-in-law of a Peshwa should do. Radha says you should have saved his life. Kashi says he was fighting a war for our honor and I was taught that our honor is the most important thing.

In the morning, Kashi wakes up. Ganga comes there and says everyone has been talking about Baji. She tells her how he killed the man who stole. Kashi says he will take time to adjust here, I trust him to make everything fine.

Chimaji comes to Radha and says I am not against Baji but what he is doing.. Radha says he is a Peshwa now so he is doing everything to keep fear in people. He is doing the right thing.

Baji talks to his ministers and asks about the fire, Chimaji says we are still finding out. Some women arrive there, they say we have a function tomorrow so we wanted you and your wife Kashi to come there. Baji says she is your queen so be respectful. The woman asks if he will come? Baji looks away and says yes, we will come. The women nod and leave.

Kashi is helping servants in making colors. The servant shows her flowers which will make anyone fall in love. Kashi tells Ganga that we will celebrate this function fully. She puts flowers in color and mistakenly hurts her hand, her blood falls in the color. Kashi says this color has my blood in it so it will make Baji fall in love now.

Scene 2
Some men put a poisonous needle in the color bucket so Baji will die when that color is splashed on him.

The holi function starts, Kashi imagines playing holi with Baji. She imagines their childhood selves playing together. Baji comes there so Kashi splashes color on him. He glares at her and leaves from there. Kashi says I am thinking of a way to make him apply color to me.

Baji comes to Radha, she says I thought I will apply color to you first but you have already been colored. Baji says Baba used to like holi. I wish he was still here, he recalls his baba telling him to take care of his mother. He makes Radha apply color to him and wishes her holi.

The holi function starts, Baji comes there and wishes everyone holi. Baji calls a minister and applies black color on him. He says I got to know you were stealing our commission and tried to mess with our finances. I will cut your hands now. The minister cries but the soldiers take him away. Baji tells everyone that I won’t spare anyone who tries to cheat Saswad. Kashi arrives there and smiles at him. Baji stares at her. Kashi says I want you to apply color to me first. She shows him the color bucket. He doesn’t know that it has the poisonous needle in it. Baji applies color on her cheek and says I still can’t forget that you were the reason that my Baba died, I think you should go back to your parents’ house, that will be better for you. He leaves from there. Kashi looks on.
