Karan Suchak to play Dhrishtadyumna in Star Plus’ Mahabharat
Swastik Productions’ Mahabharat on Star Plus has garnered quite a lot of appreciation from masses and from industry critics. As the plot in the magnum-opus mythological series heads ahead, there will be introduction of few new tracks and characters.
And one of the important characters that will make an entry very soon will be that of Dhrishtadyumna’s, brother of Draupadi and Shikhandi in the epic. And to play this prized role, good-looking Karan Suchak has been roped in. Suchak has earlier done shows like Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, Savitri, Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki.
As per a reliable source, Suchak will start shoot from tomorrow (16 November) at Umargaon.
Dhrishtadyumna happened to be the commander of the Pandava force during the Kurukshetra war. He was the one who went on to kill the Guru, Dronacharya. Ultimately, Drona’s son, Ashwathama avenges his father’s death by killing Dhrishtadyumna
When contacted, Karan confirmed the news to us saying, “Yes, I feel honoured to be part of Mahabharat. This gives me a big opportunity of working along with some of the best actors like Puneet Issarji. Playing my part in Mahabharat will be a big learning curve for me. I will start shoot for the epic very soon.”
Karan, wish you all the luck for this stint!!!
