Kairi… Rishta Khatta Meetha 19th June 2012 Written Update

Ved and anuj ties imarti’s eyes with a piece of cloth and take her to the hall where they have made preparations for her surprise. Imarti asks where they r taking her and soon they open her cloth. Imarti is very happy to see her sons do all this exclusively for her. Anuj and ved takes her to a chair which looks like the rajsimhasan (chair for the kings to sit) and makes her sit on it. She feels like she is the sole queen of the whole house and the 3 bahus do aarti. Ved then gifts the gold chain on behalf of him and anuj and imarti is overwhelmed to see her sons do all this (the happiness that her son’s r still in her control). Vimala, Vibha and bubbly wishes her but she ignores it and finally vimala goes to her and gives a sari which imarti comments to be very ordinary but keeps it as if doing some favor. Vimala gets angry with imarti’s attitude but becomes happy by thinking of the gift which ambi has planned for imarti. Sajini announces that all the three bahus have planned a wonderful surprise for her and they dance to the song sao sao saal…. (The song given in the india-forums article) and in between ambi is looking towards the door if Prakash has come. Imarti is enjoying the dance along with sonu.

Once the dance ends, Prakash enters the house looking sad. Imarti gets the shock of her life by seeing him. She gets up with her eyes open wide and even Prakash is also shocked to see imarti standing alright. Sonu sees Prakash and calls out papa and everyone sees him and r glad to see him after so long. He rushes to imarti who is speechless and enquires how she is. Imarti says that she is alright and suddenly ambi interrupts and tells the truth. She explains that it was her who called Prakash to India. Imarti looks at ambi with such anger that she would kill her at anytime. Prakash gets furious and asks ambi why she did it and ambi lists out the reasons. She tells that sonu has been eagerly waiting for his father since long-to play with him and to share all homework and school talks, then Kusum who has been all alone and waiting for one glimpse of him till now and who has kept all kinds of fasts for his long life.

Now she says that the biggest reason is imarti whose old eyes r dying to meet her son who is far away from her eyes. Furthermore she tells that its imarti’s birthday so everyone should celebrate it together. Imarti is boiling by hearing all what ambi is saying but doesn’t comment. Ambi tells that still if he thinks that she has done a mistake then forgive her considering a mistake committed by his little sister. Prakash smiles and forgives ambi and tells that atleast in this way he could attend imarti’s surprise party. Vimala laughs and tells that ambi has given the best gift for imarti and she knew about it but thought it was better to remain as a surprise for imarti. She stares at vimala and Prakash goes inside to freshen up. Ambi tells Kusum to go with him and help him but she hesitates. She looks at imarti while ambi asks imarti what to do. In an angry and helpless mood, she tells Kusum to go and she doesn’t understand what to do.
