Jodha Akbar 9th May 2014 Written Episode
Scene 1
Atgah hands the no tax order to the messengers and they are ordered to hand them over to the respective overlords, chieftains , governors .. The messengers are strictly instructed to convey to the said overlords and governors Any violation of the order will result in harsh punishment.
A announcement is made in public places that the Lagaan(tax) has been abolished and henceforth Hindus will not be paying any Lagaans.in a deserted place
Pratap is praying when his messenger informs him about Jalal’s decision to abolish the Lagaan Tax . The Incisive mind of Pratap immediately grasps the difficulties that Jalal ‘s decision has thrown up..He is sure now that Hiindu subjects will support him as the sore spot has been removed .. but Pratap is undeterred ..He swears to oppose Jalal at every turn as he is a invader. The Rajputs are impressed.
Scene 2
In agra, Moti and some Hindu Servants wish to see Jalal; Jalal orders them in .. They sing praises of Jalal’s broadmindedness and thank him for removing the tax. Moti adds that had Jodha been here , she too would have been elated ..Jalal hopes that this news does reach Jodha and she at least will remember him on this pretext.
Scene 3
Jodha is praying to Kali maa, Saguni Bai informs Jodha Begum that her time to depart has come .. Jodha smilingly agrees and says she has completed her prayers and will be leaving soon..saguni corrects her pointing out that she had called her Jodha Begum and not Kunwri Jodha .. Jodha is puzzled, she falteringly replies that she has not understood Saguni’s cryptic talk.. Saguni grows even more enigmatic, retorts that destiny is always inscrutable ..
Jodha walks out .
Scene 4
in agra, Hamida and Jalal have a chat.. Hamida has begun to treat Jalal as the King addressing him respectfully ..Hamida hesitantly brings up the issue of Maham and involving her in running of government.. Jalal doesnt agree with her.
Scene 5
in amer, Jodha is handing out coins to Hindu pilgrims so that they can pay the tax for pilgrimage when a maid comes hurrying , tells Jodha that a messenger from Agra has come with the news that Lagaan has been abolished .. Jodha is very surprised and comes out from temple , she is ecstatic to hear everyone singing praises of Jalal. Jodha realizes that Jalal’s heart has awakened.
SOULTALK
Jodha says she began to recollect each and every word that he had said.. we get the flashback of Jalal apologizing, of all the other moments…
in agra, maham is in her room, gnashing her teeth n riling against the overweening influence of Jodha .. maham is angry that jalal is veering towards Hinduism away from Islam, She blames Jodha for this change. Hamida walks into Maham’s room.. Hamida and maham engage in conversation..Hamida informs Maham that her faults have been many but at the same time, Hamida says one cannot overlook Maham’s contribution and her sacrifices .. Hamida encourages Maham to try and decrease the distance between jalal and herself.. Hamida points out that Jalal still respects her hence he has overlooked many faults of Adham and hers.. Hamida wishes the best for Maham n leaves.. Maham who was looking all broken with tears rolling down her cheeks gets back to cruel mode again. Maham says unto the empty room that she is least bothered about Jalal’s opinion nor concerned about him.. From this moment on, All her energies, her planning will be towards getting her own Son Adham to the throne ..
Scene 6
in amer, All have sat down to dinner and are waiting for Jodha to come.. Jodha bustles in, declares that she was foolish n pushed her stubbornness beyond limit n wants to return to Agra , that too on that night itself…All in one breath…. Mainavati reminds Jodha that it is night n not safe plus one has to see auspicious time but Bharmal shoots down this suggestions saying that Since Jodha is returning to her home, there is no need for such formalities
PRECAP- jalal is deliriously ecstatically joyously blissfully happy on getting the news that Jodha is coming to Agra…In his euphoria , he hugs Atgah while in the background the palace seem to be getting decorated for some party..

May 09, 23:25Felt like Jo decision to go back to Agra was sudden , when they had dragged it for so long they should have given one episode to atleast show Jo giving a thought to return.Again the reason for return also doesn’t fit in, Jo saying shehenshah is changing. We thought we already saw so many incidents of shehenshah changing. Did Jo go blind all those times.
1. When he abolished child marriage in those days. Thats a big thing. Even Raja Barmal might not have done or changed any laws like that.
2. Abolish salvery
3.He going to Hindu temple. Could we ever imagine a Moghul king going to Hindu temple because of his wife.
4.When Ja released young childs parents from Jail because he will be parentless.
5. Ja is also shown as a stubborn king, but he begged in front of her.
From yesterdays episode it looks like Ja forgibving shivani and her husband and removing taxes made her decide to go to Agra. None of what Ja did earlier.
in future if there are misunderstanding between them Jo will expect Ja to do something out of the way again for her to forgive Ja because she doesnt seem to remember favours done few months back . This char seems more leaning towards Ruks.

Can’t wait to see Ruks expression when she sees how happy Jalal is that Jodha is coming back 🙂 I just need clarity – a few episodes back, MA held something in a green blanket. Was it a baby? I don’t know why I feel like she has Benazir captured & it was a snake she was probably carrying in the green blanket! I could be wrong! Hope there could have been a promo about what MA is up to!

– In the beginning of the episode, we saw Jalal in the dumps … Wondering if Jodha was even thinking of him or not and maybe the pilgrimage tax will remind her of him Cry
– Jump to the precap and you have Jalal grinning from ear to ear in excitement that he finally the light of happiness was shining in his life again as he eagerly awaited Jodha Begum’s arrival. It is so nice to see him smile!

– She admitted she made a mistake (of refusing Jalal’s forgiveness), admitted she was stubborn beyond limits, and had made an anuchit decision. Clap And, I respect her more for it.
– She wants to go back to her Shehenshah … Not Ammijaan, Rahim, Apni parivaar ki khaatir
– She was so impatient that she wanted to leave that night itself. Loved it!

May 09, 14:34The biggest ripple effect was of course on Jodha Begum … Loved her natural reaction of happiness when she heard the teerth yaatra was repealed by the Shehenshah … She also commented that the Shehenshah will receive a lot of “asheesh” for this which is obviously her and her love … I loved the soul talk and reflection that followed for the following reasons:
– The two scenes she remembered: (1) The day he folded his hands and asked her one last time to come and (2) When Mainavati was telling her that his crime was not that bad … That finally means that his asking forgiveness superceded her memories of that fateful night of accusation Smile
– She clearly described how his actions in forgiving Shivani and his abolition of the teerth yatra tax proved to her that his heart was awakening .., and that is what touched her heart and changed her heart
– Her impatience to meet him … And how he had touched his heart and she wanted to meet him immediately … This was the restlessness we were waiting to see in her!

May 09, 14:23noone can replace Jodha nor Akdha…no matter how popular the actress…they can never ever portray a Jodha…as Jodha is only made for PS…noone has the royal looks of a queen except for PS…like i always say Parijat might be the real Akdha in 16th century and its their re-birth and united to show the world the love they had in their last birth together…i can never accept anyone as Jodha
this is one character which no actress fits…only PS…the way she given life to Jodha again is worth applause…what a elegant…what a beauty…what a beautiful expressive eyes…she made real Jodha alive in herself…in her soul…no other actress has that special factor that PS does as Jodha…

May 09, 13:49Kantisri, I agree with you about paridhis acting skills. Glad someone thinks on the same lines. No doubt she looks beautiful but lacks some expressions. Not to compare , but if we see is hits in YHM of star plus she acts so well without much dialogues , especially yesterday’s episode where the story line is same like Jo akbar
One more thing ,I feel Jo is selfish, she thought of returning only when she heard JA did something’s which she wanted him to do and which she was impressed, not because of things he did in past for he and not because she completely realized she loved him. Here I do not see difference between her thinking and Ruks thinking. Even Ruks controlled JA because she wanted him to do what’s he wanted, same with Jo .only difference since Jo is nice person she wants JA to do good things but bottom line is same, she started liking JA when he did things which she wanted and which she benefited.

May 09, 13:48Even the new spoiler true it’s not too bad, She has ignored Ja many times before, but at that time she’s not in love with him n it didn’t hurt her. Now we will get to a jealous Jo in action. Before this she many time just give in to Ruq saying she do not want to come in between Ja & Ruq. Jo will long for his company n he will have to bal his time.
If it is false pregnancy planned by MA n Ruq. It’s too bad for her, Ja will not considered their husband & wife r/ship not more than any other begums with only begum e khass title. I do pity for Ruq too.
What to do its Jodha Akbar story right.
Just to say s/thing about MA, she now is n full of vengeance mode n only cares for her son but no more love for Ja.

May 09, 13:33Jo heard Ja’s heart whispers “at least u will remember me when u hear the news of tax relieve” She not only heard it but decide to support him by returning back to him. I’m a little surprise of sudden change on her that she realised she is wrong? Most probably, he has proven that he understood love, Jo love caused Ja to do the things that will touch her heart in things that dear to heart. His forgiveness towards Shivani awoke her n tax issue really open her heart. N Now she is on her way to meet n reconcile back to her love. Ja anticipation for his heartbeat, his happiness, his love to return to him.
