Jodha Akbar 7th October 2014 Written Episode
The episode begins with …. Jodha lying on the bed unconscious and Hakima checking her. The entire family with Jalal stand surrounding her bed .. gloom and depression prevailing every where. Hakima says that jodha might not be able to tolerate the sight of the dead body of Hassan again. Jodha suddenly rises from bed. She looks at Hassan lying wrapped up in white cloth before her.
Jodha rushes to Hassan and she scolds every one for wrapping her child in white cloth as it was bad omen.
The entire family stares at mother and child .. Unable to hold back their tears …as Jodha lovingly holds Hussain in her arms talks to him lovingly. Jalal then comes to her tries to explain the situation to Jodha but jodha is unable to accept the truth. She weeps uncontrollably. She pleads shehenshah to get her hassan back. Jodha is distraught .. The entire family is in tears watching the heart wrenching scene of Jodha weeping over hassan’s dead body
Jalal takes her into his arms and tries to pacify her …. Control her. Maulvi sahab comes and does a ritual. Maan singh takes Hassan away.
In their hojra Zeenat and Quasim are happy that Hassan was no more their half job was done. Quasim declares they have taken revenge for one eye of his father.
In her hojra jodha is weeping before the empty paalna. Jalal comes to her…. takes heart broken jodha in his arms. He tells her that he was shehenshaha he could do anything but could not get his son back. Jodha says she always did good for others why was she punished. Jalal pacifies her that this was bad time it would pass soon … Jalal tries to calm jodha. Jodha is further distressed as Moti removes the paalna from her hojra. Jodha is resting her head in Jalal’s lap he is caressing her gently. He tells her to sleep. Jodha wants to sleep for ever. Jalal replies that he too was living after losing his child. Jodha then laments the loss of her child That maham’s curse was having its effect. Jalal tells Jodha lovingly that he was living because he loved her. He was living for her sake. How would he live if she talked of falling asleep for ever ??
Jalal is heart broken as jodha shares her grief. Maham wants Jalal to go for final rites .. Jodha wishes to hold hassan for one last time. Jodha wishes to go with jalal but she is stopped,
but Jalal and maham prevent her forcibly.
Next scene .. Jalal is seen carrying the body of Hassan in his arms the entire royal entourage is following him…while the royal ladies watch from the harem balcony. Jodha is grief stricken … Hameeda and Salima control Jodha with difficulty Moti bai is very worried about Jodha ….she too is upset with the passing away of jodha’s child .. Her first born ..She offers jodha a drink, But jodha refuses to eat or drink anything. Jodha stops moti from lighting kanha’s lamp. Jodha throws the lamp away. Jodha accuses kanha that all her life she lit his lamp but he has snatched away the light from her life and plunged her life into darkness. She vows never to light kanha’s lamp again all her life.
Precap: Jodha goes to Ruku’s hojra and takes hussain in her arms . Salima is feeling bad for Poor jodha. Ruku wants her son back .. Salima and jodha are shocked at ruku’s behaviour. Jodha refuses to part with husain but Ruku takes him away forcibly and puts him in his cradle and gives cunning smile.

October 08, 04:53Its more painful for parents to loose thr kids…how real jodha akbar tolerated the agony of seeing their youthful sons’s Daniyal n Murad’s death.Its so painful to see jodha cursing her fate…? Liked jalaal telling to remove the palana and telling her firmly if she dies he will also die along with her …There is so much warmth & love and the way Jalal consoled and stood by JO is superb… When HB came JO pleaded Jalaal she want to see her son last time, why can’t she the way Jalaal said NO you won’t get through the pain and Jo saying kanha she will not pray from now on is so heart touching… Can’t even begin to imagine the pain real Akbar and Hk must have gone through.. next will be Hussain after few days..now this will make JoJa’s love even stronger. They both have and will need only each other to come out of this pain.
I loved the scene where Jalal was holding Jodha in his arms giving her the support she needed. Worrying for her. He was shocked and hurt even more than he already was when Jodha said she wished to die..

it was not ott but very natural and real…
The most emotional episode of JA and the soul connection of JJ was very touching

Most of the episode both Jalal and Jo in one frame, so close to eachother… like the real couple… never felt like they were acting…
and there were so much closeness in both Rajat and Pari… all the time when he holds her in tight hug, so as to make her stop from breaking apart, like he is finding his own strength from her…it felt like they were closest to eachother than any other time… pain brought them close, while even love couldn’t do it…
kash… CVs could have shown such closeness in their happy moments…

October 08, 04:43i cried , while watching it… cried a lot… and how i m feeling right now… hats of to both Pari and Rajat…they felt the real parents and real couple who is deeply hurt and lost… those two souls, who were used to win even the death, lost to the cruel fate … and right now just once… in next couple of days they will again suffer the same blow…
God… what a big blow it would have been for them… and how they survived through this again and again??? from where they got such strength to fight with the brutal fate???

October 08, 04:32Finally after the baby left the room, Jalal saw Jodha sitting by the cradle, and he hugged her and didn’t let her protest much as the cradle was removed from the room. But then he said something so beautiful that my throat had a lump in it. He told her why she still had a reason to live. He told her he was the reason for her to live. “I wish God would take me away too!” she said not for a moment thinking of anything but the baby gone from her. “If you go I have nothing to live for. So I wish God would take me too” he said simply but sincerely. I thought that sequence in the whole episode as the two of them hugged and realised they need to live for each other was the most poignant moment of the whole 22 minutes.
Paridhi and Rajat were sensational. (I don’t even feel like calling them Jalal and Jodha, for the acting was so pure, so natural and so devoid of pretence that it looked like the real people were feeling real feelings and I could not see the divide between acting and real life!).

October 08, 04:29ater when Mansingh carried the baby away, the wail of agony she let out was blood-curdling. It was like someone was tearing her from limb to limb. He eyes were throughout in a transfixed daze … and for Paridhi to have maintained this body language of wildly swinging grief with such consistency through the whole episode, without overdoing it at all, and yet pulling every inch of feeling from our hearts into the moment, was to put it mildly simply spectacular.
It was grief with an understated elegance, heartfelt and yet with just that touch of restraint in the acting that prevented it from going over the top. And then when the baby was gone from the room, she sat by the empty cradle almost using the cradle as the symbol of the baby she had lost. Jalal knew it for he came and hugged her as close as he could, murmuring consolations to her as her agony ebbed and flowed alternately. But he was astute enough to have the cradle removed fast from the room lest it should become the surrogate for the baby and Jodha should start hanging onto the cradle for dear life! “I am sorry Jodha Begum,” he said “but I had to do it to help you let go!” And then he proceeded to slowly help her make the long walk back to reality.

October 08, 04:27it was really, really heart-breaking stuff to watch a mother, from such close quarters, lose her everything as her child is taken away in a shroud for the burial. I thought the stages of grief that Paridhi essayed were tremendous. She was initially in the bed in shock and daze. Then she got up to see the shrouded baby and again denial set in. “How could you dress my baby in white?” she asks Jalal. But then within seconds her mind shifts from hallucination to reality. “You are the Shahenshah with mighty powers, please bring back my baby to me!” she says showing clearly that a corner of her mind has registered the death of her “ansh”. She kept hovering in that nether land between acceptance of death and disbelief of death and it takes great acting not to overdo this phase. She could have easily looked like a melodrama queen … but instead she played her part so well that I cried with her and I am sure many of you did too.

October 08, 03:43I had gone into this episode sure that I would be all brave heart, not going to cry. But these actors have not failed to move me to tears again today.
I usually watch JA alone and after today’s episode I wanted to cling on to mom so bad. RT and PS nailed it. They have lived in their characters so well.
The want to see the child for the last time, the need to just carry it again, the hope that this is all just a bad dream and that gnawing feeling that this is the end, were all shown perfectly today. Today I could feel it happening right in front of me. Jalal was the father who was sturdy who had to be there for his wife, but PS as Jodha the distressed mother who has lost all hope touched a chord. She was fantabulous today. For every wail, every tear, every sob you wanted to take Zeenat out of the TV and bash her. I don’t know what RT and PS are made up of to give such a brilliant performance. I would not call that a performance actually because it seemed like it was from their hearts, not an act.
The silent clinging, the moaning, Jalal feeling helpless, all together took this episode to a whole new level. Such episodes though leave a bitter after taste bring about a new found respect for the actors who play them. Today I have renwed resepct for Rajat and Paridhi, as long as they continue to be in the show no matter what nonsense is served to me I will watch it because of the most AMAZING LEAD PAIR ever. Kudos RT and PS, you are the best television actors that we all have seen.
I once again hope and pray that the children who play Hassan n Hussain remain forever safe and happy.

October 07, 16:14the episode was full of sorrow, a mother and father lost their son forever. i do not think i ever saw so much sadness in this show before. i must applaud the actors for their amazing performance and making this all seem so real,i am a person who rarely cries and this episode has mad me cry today,

October 07, 14:22writers please let jalal find out that his nephew and nephewswife were the ones responsible for killing Hassan and hussain and let them get the punishment they deserve. I thought the twins were going to die from some disease or something not that they would actually be poisoned. after jodha went through soo much to have those children and for them to be taken away just like that; this is not fair. just so these two evil ones came into the palace and jalal welcome them with open arms and that is the thanks jalal and jodha got; their children being poisoned to death; their crime is unforgivable; I cannot wait for jalal to find out and set their punishment as one that others would think twice before doing something like that again and if ruks is also involved; childhood friend or no childhood friend take her down with them also because look what he jalal did to maham who was his second mother and if he could do that to maham writers let ruks be punished also for her crime which would be even worse if that is the case that she ruks was also involved in the death of jalal and jodhas twins. ruks is a very ungrateful person not to be trusted in the first place jodha should not have given her child hussain to ruks; ruks is only interested in power and position she does not really and truly love anyone but herself; so writers come one do the right thing bring a good storyline and spice up things with ruks and the two evil one who killed the twins let three of them be found out quickly for what they did. another storyline could also be added such as jodha not being able to stand the death of her children would try to take her life and jalal seeing how jodha is distraught to that extent he now would take a drastic change and spare no one till he gets to the bottom of who was really responsible for the death of his children making their punishment unbelievable writers see what you can do with that.

October 07, 13:34Today’s episode was fully of sorrow, grieve n misery of a young parent who have lost their beloved son. They has so much dreams about them but all shattered overnight.
R&P was superb in the mourning scene. They did a good job and deserve thumbs up.
Ja hiding his sorrow n pain to console Jo. The way he keep pulling her to his chest to calm her was very touching. His pain thru his words being a great shenshah yet he could save his son. In fact none of them could have help her to realise her son’s death but Ja, he did just that n sharing his pain by crying n hugging her to give her the solace. The way Ja hold her tight when Maan singh took her baby was agonising
Jo was really good being a completely broken mom on the loss of her son. Her facial expression n crying n her words of shattered mom was well done. I never thought Pari could act well in such scene. Her refusal to c her dead son was painful to watch.
The scene where only 2 of them comforting each other was good one where they shared about their dream of raising their son vanished. Ja came to Jo who was ranting, and chest hugging was too good. Ja knew only he can control Jo in this devastated state. The way he gently took her hand away from the cradle n hold her hand to give her strength. The cradle removing scene was heart wrenching. He just took control of the situation by grabbing her hand and give a tight hug that she needs.
I have never seen them so much in a tight hug, emotional hug, not even in romantic scene. This has taken their r/ship another level. This will make a more mature, no more the petite fight, MU, teasing n so on. They have breach the distance between them n gave the best shot in sorrowful episode.
The most beautiful scene n words spoken in the midst of grieve n pain was that Ja said “he live because of her Love, how would he live if she is leaving him”
Zeenat should be caught just waiting for that.

here are news that Jodha Akbar will take a leap in the end of October. But it’s not true. The show will focus on Jodha and Akbar only for now till 2014
end. They may bring the track of young Salim and bonding with his
parents Jodha and Akbar. We would love to see Jodha and Akbar showering their love on the young prince Salim, and viewers would surely enjoy if the track of young Salim is introduced. In upcoming episodes after the death of Jodha and Akbar’s twins, Jodha will be completely broken and the show will get viewers on a emotional ride when Jodha and Akbar will mourn over their twin kids death. Lets see when will happiness knock on Jodha and Akbar’s life.
Till then, keep watching Jodha Akbar and ignore ‘leap’ rumours, atleast for now.
