Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 9 27th August 2016 Written Episode

Manish welcomes everyone in the show and tells about face off rounds. Shakti and Arjun will be dancing together in face off. Surveen and Nora, Siddhant and Karishma, Helly and Harpal, Salman and Shantanu are the other pairings to have dance fight.

1. Siddhant and Karishma along with choreographers
Dance Form: Bollywood
They dance on the songs Dhinka Chika………..from the movie Ready, Chikni Chameli….. from the movie Agneepath.. and Dhating Naach ….. from the movie Phata Poster Nikhla Hero.

Judges’ Comments:
Karan: There was much energy, concept is great, if this is start, then what will happen next, Karishma did great, I liked everything, Siddhant looks ready to face the big screen, I found your expressions mind blowing,
I had great fun.
Jacqueline: Karishma and Siddhant danced so well, Karishma is hardworking, I did not know Siddhant is so naughty, it was fun to see that side of you.
Ganesh: I thought this face off is mismatch, I m surprised to see Siddhant ignited fire today, Karishma you took iconic song and very good choreography, that is hard work, you did well. Siddhant did mindblowing and energy was very very good.

2. Shakti and Arjun along with choreographers
Dance Form: Freestyle
They dance on Bachna Ae Haseeno title song, Aadat se Majboor …….. from the movie Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, and Aa Dekhen Zara…..

Judges’ Comments:
Ganesh: I got to know the truth now, this was competitive act, Shakti is more polished, but Arjun matched evenly, Shakti started clean and confident, I saw the cool and casual hero, second half Arjun looked strong.
Jacqueline: I saw audience and all girls looked happy. Arjun I m very surprised, you are getting better and better, you are dark house, Shakti you are fabulous dancer.
Karan: Last week Shakti was somewhat low, this time he was really good, Shakti got the charm, superb, well done. Arjun, your journey was bumpy, I always see you, you are always smiling and positive, you performed superbly, all of you were brilliantly equal.
Sonakshi: Great energy and attitude, girls won in this act, I had fun.

3. Salman and Shantanu along with choreographers
Dance Form: Tango and Krumping
They dance on the songs Dhoom Machale…. from the movie Dhoom 2.
Judges’ Comments:
Jacqueline: This is very unfair, how could you make Shantanu and Salman together, there was no mistake, both were sensational, Shantanu you were lot more confident in solo, when you danced with Salman, you were in sync,it was superb, Salman is shirtless, it would be tough for all judges.
Sonakshi: It was such an energetic and perfect dance, thanks for giving such a mind blowing performance.
Karan: this is what you call an outstanding face off, Shantanu and Alisha’s partner work was good, but Salman and Aishwarya were better, Shantanu did great, Salman and Aishwarya did fantastic, both boys did well, Shantanu was outstanding in solo part.
Ganesh: Salman is expert in this, Shantanu showed moves in his comfort zones, hottie was overpowering cutie.

4. Helly and Harpal along with choreographers
Dance Form: Bollywood and Salsa
They dance on songs Shava Shava ……… from the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Party On My Mind…………from the movie Race 2, Tukur Tukur ………..from the movie Dilwale.
Judges’ Comments:
Karan: Helly you really worked hard, Jai well done, Harpal gave tough fight, I had fun to see you, when you danced on Ganesh’s choreography, I felt Helly went ahead, it was not fantastic but good fun.
Jacqueline: Party on my mind song is good. Harpal has full on energy, he is coolest contestant, you are getting better, its pleasure to watch you dance, Helly you know I love you, you were uncomfortable in Salsa, but fantastic in face off.
Ganesh: Concept was good, tribute to all judges, Harpal was not in his element, that fire was missing, Helly this was your best performance till date.
Scores for Harpal: Ganesh 7, Jacqueline 7, Karan 7. Total 21.
Scores for Helly: Ganesh 8, Jacqueline 8, Karan 8. Total 24.

5. Nora and Surveen along with choreographers
Dance Form: Bollywood
They dance on songs Kaate Nahin Katte Ye Din Ye Raat ….. from the movie Mr. India, Ek Do Teen….. from the movie Tezaab, and Aaja Nachle title song
Judges’ Comments:
Ganesh: Nora I have seen happy version of Kaante Nai Katte, Surveen you had Madhuri in you, your expressions were great, the face off was spectacular and strong.
Jacqueline: Surveen is very versatile, Madhuri will be so so proud, Nora I m so proud of you, you remind me of myself, you danced like a natural, when you both had a face off, Surveen had an upper hand, you guys killed it.
Karan: This was my fav face off, Nora did really well and brought Sridevi, Surveen you are impressing me every week, you performed Sonakshi: I have no words, when you see great dancing, you get peace, you girls are stunning.
Scores for Nora: Ganesh 8, Jacqueline 9, Karan 9. Total 26.
Scores for Surveen: Ganesh 9, Jacqueline 10, Karan 10. Total 10.
