Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 9 24th September 2016 Written Episode

Jhalak brings the gender reversal concept. The guys get dressed as girls, and vice versa. This is the third challenge in the four week challenge. Karan tells them that seven contestants have transformed and putting many efforts, they have changed gender to win Jhalak.

1. Nora and Cornel
Dance Form: Bollywood
They dance on the song Tai Tai Phish… from the movie Chillar Party.

Judges’ Comments:
Jacqueline: If my Papa gets such son in law, he will be scared, Nora is very scary, I just want to say….. amazing coordination.
Ganesh: Nora your character was mindblowing, Cornel choreography was not too good, Nora has saved this act, it dropped in between, she pulled it off.
Karan: Nora and Cornel, outstanding transformation,
you are still in character, your moves and body language was great, energy and tapori giri was good, act was not so great.

Scores: Ganesh 8, Jacqueline 8, Karan 8. Total 24.

2. Arjun Bijlani and Bhawna
Dance Form: Freestyle
They dance on the song Ghagra….from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Judges’ Comments:
Jacqueline: Arjun and Bhawna, this half man and half woman was tough concept, there is one more week for challenge round, so all the best, act was great attempt.
Ganesh: The song was distributed well, choreography was bit okay. act was just okay, but I think you can do better.

Karan: Concept wise it was interesting, execution was not upto the mark, you were overlapping, Arjun was good, it was underwhelming performance, I m sorry.
Riteish: I really enjoyed, its very difficult act, I totally enjoyed, good luck.

Scores: Ganesh 7, Jacqueline 8, Karan 7. Total 22.

3. Surveen Chawla and Sanam
Dance Form: Hip Hop
They dance on the song Chikni Kamar pe teri….. from the movie Rowdy Rathore.

Judges’ Comments:
Jacqueline: I m shocked seeing Surveen, she is looking cheap, but your character came with you so beautifully, I m in love with you, perfection, I loved the act.
Ganesh: It was good act, choreography was good, choice of steps should have been desi. Surveen you are outstanding, I always get best of you.
Karan: Surveen you are a megastar, your ability to transform and give best performance, your ability, superb.
Riteish: I think both of you are outstanding, you are fantastic, performance and chemistry outstanding.
Scores: Ganesh 9, Jacqueline 9, Karan 9. Total 27.

4. Salman and Aishwarya
Dance Form: Tandav
They dance on the song Pal Pal Mein Chal Chal Hai ….. Maula Maula….. from the movie The Attacks Of 26-11

Judges’ Comments:
Jacqueline: Everyone told me to watch out Salman, he is outstanding, it took us all back, you have ability to blend in all characters, you really just killed it, this is one of my fav performance, congrats.
Ganesh: Salman your level is always high, your commitment increases, there were many levels in the act, hats off, Aishwarya you created this, mind blowing.
Karan: Outstanding drama, Salma knows how to create drama on stage, from entry to lighting, it was beautifully executed, this was finest performance.
Riteish: Salman you are a fantastic dancer, you created drama so good, great start and chemistry, congrats.
Scores: Ganesh 10, Jacqueline 10, Karan 10. Total 30.

5. Karishma Tanna and Rajit
Dance Form: Bollywood
They dance on the song Mai Tera Jabra Fan….. from the movie Fan.
Judges’ Comments:
Ganesh: You gave tribute to two biggest legends of film industry, it was fun act, jokes were good, it was very good act.
Jacqueline: Karishma and Rajit, fantastic, I had fun, Karishma you make a fantastic Amit ji, I m also your fan Rajit.
Karan: It was mutual admiration concept, I really liked it, Rajit was amazing as Rajnikant, Karishma worked hard, its tough, I liked your act.
Riteish: Great act, its perfect tribute, I thought Karishma is amazing.
Scores: Ganesh 8, Jacqueline 9, Karan 9. Total 26.

6. Shantanu with Alisha
Dance Form: Bollywood
They dance on the song Munni badnaam hui….. from the movie Dabangg.
Judges’ Comments:
Jacqueline: Shantanu you still look cute, it was amazing, I felt left you when you teased Riteish.
Riteish: Outstanding Shantanu, you had the nuances, great.
Karan: You worked on your expressions Shantanu, it was critical to do Munni’s act, I loved it, well done, I enjoyed it a lot.
Ganesh: Munni was very solid, Munni was hurting, Alisha you started and I recalled 70’s Manish Paul, it was very good act, well choreographed, mind blowing.

Scores: Ganesh 9, Jacqueline 10, Karan 10. Total 29.

7. Shakti and Suchitra
Dance Form: Lavni
They dance on the form Sheila ki jawani…. from the movie Teer Maar Khan.
Judges’ Comments:
Ganesh: It was good mix, I have also mixed this song, but this was very good, Shakti you gave good looks, what to say Shakti, I wish I was not married, I would have married you.
Jacquelie: I feel Shakti is the prettiest girl today, all Nakhras was good, you were so good.
Karan: Shakti your journey is great, I have seen such improvement graph, you are amazing, I thought its finest performance, well done, I m proud of you.
Riteish: It was fabulous in this art form, I think Shakti is extraordinary, you won my heart.
Scores: Ganesh 9, Jacqueline 10, Karan 10. Total 29.

Shantanu is the top contestant. While Arjun and Nora are at the lowest two.
