It’s a celebration time in Bani- Ishq Da Kalma!
Colors’ popular show Bani – Ishq Da Kalma is rejoicing the moment of completing a successful journey of one year. The show’s unusual concept of NRI marriages and depicting one of the social issues domestic violence which is still prevalent in our country has been widely appreciated by the masses. Thus to celebrate the occasion the cast of the show went to Gurudwara to seek blessing and also arranged langar for the devotees.
We got in touch with the stars of the show to know their feelings and experience throughout being in the show.
Shefali Sharma who is seen as Bani
“I am very happy as we all were waiting for this moment to come. I am feeling blessed that I got a chance to be the part of this show. Frankly speaking ye ek saal kaise nikal gaye pata hi nai chala. It’s because we all are like family and we feel that we are at home. We all did ardaas for this special occasion and arranged langar.
We had planned to do cake cutting ceremony but unfortunately we didn’t get time due to our shooting schedule. But I am happy that we have successfully completed a year and I hope that we go long way and many twists and turns are yet to come. So I hope that audience will enjoy our show and keep loving us.”
Adhvik Mahajan seen as Soham
“I am very happy and excited that we have completed a year successfully. It has been a great journey. My character Soham has given me an identity and today people know me because of my character. I am feeling blessed that I got a chance to be the part of this show.
Our entire team went to Gurudwara to do ardaas and then we arranged langar. It was an amazing feeling and since my childhood I believe that one must always start their any special day with the blessings of God though be it on your birthday or anniversary or any new work you begin with. Even when we were about to start Bani – Ishq Da Kalma a year back we first went to Gurudwara similarly we visited today to keep our tradition alive.
I am really thankful to God and also my audience for this success because it’s our audience who loved us and supported us a lot throughout our journey and hope they love us.”
My most memorable moment was when the show was started we were shooting at Amritsar in February which was a peak winter season. So it was an amazing feeling because I am from Punjab and I was feeling that I am shooting at my home apni mitti, apne pind ka khana. Other than that all the days are memorable moment on the set of Bani – Ishq Da Kalma.”
Gurmeet Chaudhary seen as Parmeet Singh Bhullar
“I am very happy and glad that our show has completed a year. Initially, I had very few scenes but from November my character came into lime light and I became an important part of the show. It was very difficult for me to play the character of Parmeet because I was given the character who is anti- hero and I am very much different in real life.
But I am really grateful and feel blessed that I became an important part of this show. We all went to Gurudwara to seek blessings. I just hope that our show goes long way and achieves such milestones ahead.
Today is the most memorable day of mine throughout my journey in Bani – Ishq Da Kalma.”
Upasana Singh seen as Buaji
“It’s a very happy moment for all of us who are part of the show Bani- Ishq Da Kalma. I am glad that within less span of time we have gained immense popularity. I was hardly seen in the show but still my character was so strong that I received an award for my character for the show Bani – Ishq Da Kalma and was also nominated for the character many award functions. This is because the writer has written script so well that even the smaller character has been applauded for their work. I am really happy to work with such a great team.”
