Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (Life OK) – 9th July 2013 Written Episode

The episode starts with Khushi in Arnav arms. He rudely pushes her away and shoots daggers at her. Khushi on the other hand, is bewildered and confused. The security guards come and take her away and as her dupatta falls down, she turns and takes a look at Arnav who looks unmoved. He orders someone to make sure that the photos related to Khushi aren’t printed.
Scene changes to Khushi’s house where everyone is busy with the wedding preparations. Payal overhears a couple of women talking about how Khushi’s absence is weird considering it’s her elder sister’s wedding. Just then, Bua comes and shooes everyone away to eat. She, then, asks Payal if she’s got any clue about the lost papers of the shop. Payal is crying and doesn’t know what to say.
Scene changes with the guards dragging Khushi away and Khushi pleading them to let her go as she needs to reach home.
Scene changes again where Payal tells Bua she doesn’t know anything about the papers and Bua is worried because they need Rs 20 lacs plus Khushi is missing.
Khushi is locked in a room where she’s banging the door saying that she hasn’t done anything.
Meanwhile, Arnav orders someone to find out who sent Khushi to spoil the fashion show.
Scene shifts as Payal asks whether they are still asking for the shop papers and whether Abhishek is aware or not. Bua tells her that Abhishek doesn’t really have a say in it. It is his mother who is so admant about the papers. Payal, Bua and Khushi’s mother, all three are visibly worried.
Two men come and start interrogating Khushi regarding her relation to the profession. A bewildered Khushi tells them she has no idea what they’re talking about and pleads once again to let her go. They ignore her pleas.
At the same time, Payal realises her mother is panicking. Garima doubts a connection between a missing Khushi and the lost papers. Payal is shocked.
Arnav is told that Khushi isn’t opening her mouth. He decides to take matters in his own hands. He orders them to release Khushi and as Khushi tries to run away, he grabs her. He closes up on a terrified Khushi who once again tries to explain that the entire circumstance was a big mistake and begs him to let her go home as she is getting late. Arnav says he’ll let her go once she answers his questions. Khushi is confused further as she has no idea what he is talking about. She once again requests him to let her leave as she has a marriage to attend but Arnav, ignoring her, asks her the amount of money she’d been paid to ruin his show. Khushi is shocked. She impatiently tells him that she has absolutely no idea what is happening and everything is a mistake. Arnav tells her that even mistakes should be committed keeping one’s standards in mind. A rapid fire round begins between an arrogant Arnav and a petrified Khushi ending in Khushi getting all the more frustrated. She explains that she needs to be home else her sister’s wedding will break but Arnav insults her telling her it doesn’t make a difference for girls like her as when one guy goes, another comes for them. An offended Khushi finally confronts him asking him to put himself in her shoes, asking him what he would’ve done had someone spoken like this about his sister. Arnav’s expressions reveal that she’s probably touched his sore spot, thus incurring his wrath. As Khushi tries to escape, He catches hold of her once again and breaks the string which keep her blouse intact. Khushi, finally overcoming her shocks, leaves her hair lose to cover her exposed back and runs away from there, crying.
Scene shifts to Khushi’s house where Bua, Garima and Payal all look disturbed. People are gossiping regarding the return of Payal’s baarat and the fact that Khushi is missing. Bua curses everyone and shooes them away. Garima asks Payal whether she knows about Khushi’s whereabouts and has a hard time buying Payal’s lie regarding her not knowing. Shashi too inquires about Khushi but no one as an answer for him. Garima is worried whether something has happened to Khushi. Bua starts cursing Khushi for all the misfortunes occured but Shashi defends her in vain. Payal is about to confess the truth when they hear Khushi coming home. Khushi reaches home and realises that her sister’s marriage has been called off with people blaming her for the same. She is horrified and guilt-stricken with people scrutinising her every step as she approaches her helpless parents. Khushi is about to apologise to Garima when Garima pleads her not to create a bigger scene and drags her inside the house.
Payal asks her whether she’s fine but Khushi is upset. As she tries talking to Garima, Garima scolds her regarding being out till so late. However, Bua intervenes and screams at Khushi regarding the papers. Shashi cuts her short and confronts Khushi in a softer and more understanding way. Khushi and Payal exchange knowing looks. Khushi finally tells her family the truth regarding how she wanted to find out if Abhishek was involved in the whole dowry thing and if not, then he may just convince his parents against taking dowry. Bua and Garima get mad at her for the same and ask her not to interfere in matters which happen to be the older generation’s business. They even have an argument over the concept of dowry which ends in the revelation that Payal doesn’t happen to be Khushi’s sibling.
Bua continues to taunt Khushi and Garima is influenced. She ends up telling Khushi that she’s proven that she isn’t Garima’s daughter. It is revealed that Khushi is Garima’s late sister’s daughter. Khushi is very hurt and is left speechless. Shashi finally shuts Bua up who cribs a bit then leaves. Khushi and Payal share an emotional sisterly moment when Khushi cries on Payal’s shoulder apologising for everything which went wrong because of her. Payal assures Khushi that she means more to her than her own sister would’ve. The scene ends with the sisters sharing a hug.
Payal is spending a sleepless night and Khushi is also tossing and turning in her sleep where Garima’s words are haunting her even her dreams. Finally, Khushi wakes up and goes to the kitchen. The episode ends with Khushi attempting suicide when she’s on the verge of burning the kitchen with herself inside.
