In conversation with Dolly Sohi

Best known for the Star Plus drama series Bhabhi, actress Dolly Sohi is currently essaying the role of Sadhna in Life OK show Mere Rang Mein Rangnewali (Rajshri Productions).

The actress, who has spent more than a decade in the industry, is one such lady, who loves to face the reality and that too with grace.

We recently spoke to Dolly and her straightforward and chatty answers simply impressed us.

As the actress is currently essaying the role of a mother of a young son we quizzed her about same and Dolly replied, “This is one phase of my life, where I am essaying such a role. And at this point of career either you can opt for such roles or you can sit back at home. I prefer to face the reality and hence thought of doing this. Moreover, my character is of a strong woman, so I don’t have mush issues essaying the character.”

Soon the same channel is coming up with a new show entitled Kalash and coincidentally Dolly was a part of another project of the same name, produced by the same production house (Balaji Telefilms), which is coming up with the new project. And when we chatted with her, the lady in a lighter vein added, “When I heard about it for the first time I was shocked and felt funny at the same time.”

“I even wondered why they haven’t called us this time. It would have been fun then. But on a serious note it is a different project altogether but definitely it feels strange,” added the actress candidly.

The actress also mentioned that working with young talents in the show makes her feel young and blessed and is enjoying her current role.
