Imran Khan in Sony TV’s CID

Now that Star Plus’ show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (Cinevistaas Ltd) has gone off air, actor Imran Khan who played the role of Mahesh in the show, is free to take up other projects.

As per reports, he will soon be seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s CID (Fireworks Productions).
Imran will essay the role of Dr Sameer, a forensic expert for two episodics.

The plot revolves around the crime of land grabbing wherein two women who are land mafias get murdered.
The actor who starts shooting from tomorrow confirmed the news to us saying, “Doing cameos has always been a satisfying experience.”

Commenting on his new projects he plans to take up, he said, “Serials become long and monotonous. I plan to venture in films. Let’s see how it works out.”
