“I’m planning to join theaters to groom my acting skills.” – Avinash Mukherjee
Popular young actor Avinash Mukherjee who is on a sabbatical and concentrating on his academics these days talks about doing theaters to groom his acting skills and future plans.
Avinash Mukherjee rose to fame as Jagya in Balika Vadhu. Currently the young lad is on a sabbatical from the small screen. He wants to concentrate on his studies and groom himself. The actor was then seen playing a grey character in Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki.
Avinash who is on a sabbatical wants to focus on his academics right now and he is also planning to try his hands in the theaters soon, “Yes I’m on a break as it’s my 12th std. Also now I’m planning to join theaters to groom my acting skills. I’ll be soon doing Nadira Babbar’s workshop and after that if I get a chance to act in the play, then I would love to do it,” he says.
The actor is looking forward to do theaters as he found it very interesting and also says that he is willing to do good roles on TV, “I have also seen Saurabhji’s (Shukla) workshop and I feel that theater is very interesting as you get to learn a lot about acting. It’s not that I don’t want to do TV. If interesting role comes my way, I would but I’m not in a hurry.”
Beside theater, Avinash has been doing a lot of things, so when asked about the same, he says, “I’m learning to drive and also had been taking swimming and dance lessons. This is very important part of grooming session. One has to be fit and should know everything. Also this will help me not only for the small screen roles but also for the silver screen,”
Avinash also dreams big for Bollywood. We hope his wish comes true and wish him luck.
