If numbers of Saraswatichandra have dropped, it simply means that certain tracks are not working
Gautam Rode, the lead actor of Saraswatichandra (Star Plus and DD), is a very honest guy. For unlike most other actors who put the blame of low TRP of their shows on the ongoing IPL (Indian Premiere League), this handsome dude, who recently anchored Nach Baliye, said it straight, “I don’t want to say that cricket is affecting our show for we have our share of loyal audiences. Let’s face it if the numbers (1.4) have dipped It just means that the audiences do not like some tracks and we simply have to change to what they like.”
He continued, “At the end of the day, TV is nothing but a ratings game. We can’t say that we will continue to stick to our storyline; the cut throat nature of game does not allow us such liberties. We are making a show for the end user and they have to like it.”
“I am sure the creatives are working on it and very soon, we will bounce back,” sounds an apprehensive Gautam.
Well, Gautam, we hope that your show bounces back with renewed ratings shortly.
