How did The Buddy Project happen to you?
I had given auditions post which I got selected for this role.
In what ways do you think you relate to Keshav Desai?
Keshav Desai’s father is a constable whose philosophy is to be happy with whatsoever you have. KD’s philosophy is just opposite to what his father thinks. He is a dreamer, an optimistic guy and has a lot of respect for girls. I can relate very much to my character as I am also a dreamer.
How is it working for Producer Sudhir Sharma?
He is a very nice and friendly person. Sudhir is more like a friend for all of us. He welcomes new ideas and always helps all of us in every walk of life.
Do you think that The Buddy Project is a turning point for your career?
Yes, it is. It’s a different and an exciting show with a fresh concept. People are loving the show and my character KD too.
How’s your co-ordination with Manav Gohil on the sets?
Manav is like an elder brother to me. I get inspired a lot from him and his acting. He is a very kind hearted man with a positive nature. We play cricket during our free time on the sets.
What interests you apart from acting?
I like traveling and watching movies.
Do you think luck plays an important role in getting an opportunity?
Luck is important but time is even more important.
If you would be given a chance to take part in any reality show, then which show you would like to take part in?
I would like to take part in Nach Baliye because I want to dance and I would also like to take part in Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Any regrets so far?
No, because we get to learn something through our mistakes.
Who are your favorite Bollywood stars and why?
I like Shah Rukh Khan for his persona and Aamir Khan for his depth and intensity.
Do you know cooking?
I can cook a few things.
Your future plans?
Right now, I will be focusing on The Buddy Project. In future I would love to continue with TV, if any good concept comes up and would also look for movies.
