We in a candid chat with beautiful Krissann Barretto who is loved as Alia in MTV India’s popular show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan.

Gorgeous Krissann Barretto who portrays character of Alia in MTV India’s popular show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan has garnered lot of and so we got in a candid chat with Krissann to know about her character and more regarding the show.

Tell something about your character?

My character name is Alia who is in love with her boyfriend named Manek whom she is dating since seven long years. ‘Fab five’ group of five friends in the college is her family and she loves music. She is spoiled brat. She has a brother who ruins everything for her still she loves him.

This is the first show where you are playing a lead so how challenging was it?

I have done two shows before that were episodic. The shows I did are Heroes – The Fightback Files on Channel V and on Bindass Yeh Hai Aashiqui. But for playing the lead in a daily soap I was little nervous initially but then I got to learn a lot in this show. I started observing all my senior co-stars and taken a bit from all and learned from them.

If not an acting then what would you take up?

I have studied law but could pursue it for a year only as I could not handle it more and did not interest me. But if not acting then I would love to dance. I love dancing. Even in the free time we keep dancing and I learn Bollywood dance from my co-stars.

Talking about your co-stars give one liners for all?

Veebha (Vibha) Anand who is seen as Navya is like my elder sister and she also likes making tea all time for everybody.

Charlie Chauhan who is seen as Mukti has a big heart and takes care of everyone.

Ayaz Ahmed who is seen as Cabir is lot of fun filled, I get to learn lot from him and he brings life to the show.

Niti Taylor who is seen as Nandini is like a doll who is cute and keep giving surprises to everyone.

Abhishek Malik who is seen as Harshad is like my brother who keep telling me don’t to this and that. I am his first sister ever (Smiles).

Parth Samthaan who is seen as Manik , we give killer shot together, he is a good friend and we connect well.

Utkarsh who is seen as Dhruv is one that makes you laugh and turns everyone mad.
