“I want to meet a spirit.”: Nia Sharma

The chirpy Nia Sharma who has enticed many with her acting, speaks about her belief in supernatural powers to us.

The gorgeous and bubbly Nia Sharma who is seen playing the role of Maanvi in Star Plus’ popular daily soap Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai holds strong views about supernatural powers. We decided to speak with the actress to find out more about this side of Nia.

She said,”I don’t believe in supernatural powers at all. In fact I have seen all this only in movies and laugh over it as I don’t believe it at all. I will not believe in supernatural until and unless it happens with me or I come across it.”

She further adds, “As a child I have heard a lot of horror stories. When in school all my friends and I would discuss about the same too which used to scare us, especially topics related to purani haveli, Aligarh and many such places. Even when I used to watch horror shows such as Aahat and Zee Horror show, I would get so scared that I would not even get up in the night to go to the washroom thinking that someone would follow me or I would encounter something horrifying.”

“With time I overcame the fear and now I laugh over it when I go back and think about these days in my life. But I surely would want to meet a spirit in real life and experience and know how does that happen” she concluded.
