“I took Beintehaa to come back” : Mohit Malhotra
Mohit Malhotra is back on small screen after a long hiatus. The actor talks about his second innings on TV and his absence from the tele world.
Mohit Malhotra is current seen as Zubair Qureshi on Colors show, Beintehaa. The actor was last seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hain as Priya’s (Saakshi Tanwar) brother but after the leap, Mohit made an exit from the show.
Stating reason of his absence from TV Mohit says he was not present in the town as his father expired, “Well my father expired last year so I was not in the town. I know it’s a big gap on my returning to TV and Beintehaa happened at the right time. I had heard about this show and it has been doing well, thus I thought to give it a try.”
He further adds, “I wanted to return back to television with a good show and character and thus I took Beintehaan to come back. My character in the show has to unite Zain (Harshad Arora) and Alia (Preetika Rao) and once that is done, I think that will be the time for my exit from the show.”
What kind of role is Mohit looking forward to do on TV? He says, “Look I’ve done lots of good boy role but now I want to do something potential. I want to do a show which has an intense love story and I play the role of an intense lover. Well with this current show on Colors, I really hope to get good offers from different production houses and channels.”
Mohit who debuted on TV with a show titled as Mitwa on Star Plus too was an intense love story? He says that the story was a cute love story and he was immature, “Yes it was but that time I was not mature enough. It was a village background and a cute love story. Now the times have changed and so has the television world. So I’m hoping for the best to come my way.”
It’s never too late for good actors like Mohit. We wish him luck!
