Dheeraj Dhoopar in conversation with us about playing Prem in Sasural Simar Ka..
The very well-known actor Dheeraj Dhoopar is being seen playing the role of Prem in Rashmi Sharma’s Sasural Simar Ka for more than two months.
“It’s a popular show and ‘Prem’ is one such character that has always garnered love from the audiences. So I really feel happy and fortunate to be a part of it”, says Dheeraj.
Talking about his journey in Colors Sasural Simar Ka, Dheeraj says, “Well, so far it has been a wonderful experience. The directors and producers have been really supportive, as they helped me mould myself into what I am today. But one thing I’m particular about, is that no matter whatever the character is, I play it my way.”
The very talented actor Dheeraj is overwhelmed with the reactions he is getting from the industry. He says, “To be frank, I was never a follower of this show. But my family and dear ones persuaded me to take up this role. I think for an actor, playing every character is a challenge. However, I find Prem somewhat similar to me, as we both are pretty optimistic. Prem is a family oriented guy, but I’m more fun-loving in reality. I think the audiences have accepted me with love and I’m also getting a lot of appreciation and compliments from my friends as they feel connected with the on screen Prem.”
The actor also tells us that Sasural Simar Ka is a great team to work with. It is more like a family and they all have their share of fun.
The ever notorious Dheeraj who is known to be a huge prankster says that he did not get a chance to play any prank so far on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka. But while talking to Telly Buzz, Dheeraj shares his memory of the most enjoyable prank. He says, “While I was shooting for a television commercial, my co-star and I had a mock fight. We actually got very fierce and started shouting loudly. The whole unit was shocked and their faces were fun to look at. Just when we realized that everybody was taking it seriously, we spilled the beans. But it was so much of fun that I can never forget”.
We wish Dheeraj all the good luck for a bright future ahead!
