“I love the art of make-up” – Aashka Goradia

Gorgeous Aashka Goradia who is very particular about her looks on-screen talks about judging the May Queen 2014 beauty pageant event, defines beauty and much more in conversation with us.

Beautiful TV actress Aashka Goradia who is currently seen as Dheer Bai Bhatiyani in Sony TV’s popular show Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap is all set to judge a May Queen 2014 beauty pageant gives some valuable beauty tips and also reveals about her beauty secret.

We got in touch with Aashka to know about her beauty secret and her idea about beauty…

You have always been portrayed as being gorgeous and beautiful on screen… Do you give suggestions when the look of your character is decided?

Yes, I do give suggestion whenever my character is decided because it always goes hand in hand. As I am working in this industry from past 13 years I have gained immense knowledge about the look of the character, how should be in appearance wise and all those stuff. My character of Kalavati which I used to play in Laagi Tujhse Lagan was inspired by my suggestion. Make-up, hairstyle, also the lines she used to say in the show, the attire she used to wear and other things were inculcated by my suggestions.

We have seen you taking utmost care of your looks whenever you appear on screen and even in the reality show Bigg Boss… is it a daily routine for you or have you learned the art of make up?

I have learned the art of make up throughout my journey in this industry; in fact I love the art of make-up. When we do a show we get attached to it and even our audience get attached to the character we play and so whenever we actors appear on television, they have certain expectation from the actor’s appearance and so we have to maintain that. And of course I am a girl and obviously I love to look good.

How do you maintain your looks?

Well at present I am young, so when I will turn 40+ that time I will prefer to answer this question.

Is this the first time you will be judging a beauty pageant?

No, I have done it before but frankly I don’t like to judge the beauty pageants but I love to watch beauty and really like to be a part of it.

What made you come on the panel of judges?

Well the invitation was really auspicious and thus I thought of being a part of it. It seems to be very interesting.

What is your idea of beauty?

Idea of beauty for me is that it’s the matter of fact that if you are you and if you are able to convince me that you are yourself that it is beauty for me. Let me explain all the people are beautiful but most of them fail to show their beauty. So I like those who can judge themselves and have confidence about what they are. This is beauty according to me.

How would you define inner beauty?

Someone who has lots of composer in themselves is an inner beauty.

What is your beauty secret?

I stay composed (laughs) and that’s the only beauty secret of mine.

Any beauty tips?

Just try to stay composed and you will become beautiful and with this you will be able to maintain your inner as well as outer beauty.
