“I enjoyed hosting…” – Jayati Bhatia

We got in touch with Jayati Bhatia about her debut hosting experience for the Gold Awards…

The talented Jayati Bhatia has entertained the audience with her acting skills in many shows. Currently she is seen playing the role of Mataji in Rashmi Sharma’s popular daily soap Sasural Simar Ka on Colors, and has tried her hand on hosting for the first time.

We got the news that Jayati Bhatia hosted the Gold Awards for this year. The award function has already taken place and will be seen going on air soon. On the same we contacted Jayati Bhatia to know about her hosting experience and she said, “I enjoyed a lot hosting. It was my very first time in hosting and that too an Award function for the very first time. I was much nervous but it was a great experience.”

She couldn’t stop praising her co-host Karan V Grover, “My co-host Karan V Grover was very encouraging. He helped me a lot for hosting as it was my first time, and he made me read the telly promptor. I would say that Karan is a fantastic host. So also Ravi Dubey and Manish Paul were of great help to me by encouraging me and giving me strength to perform well on stage.”

Further she said, “When I used to be sitting in the audience, I used to say that what is this guy/girl speaking (referring to the anchors), but it is when I was on the stage, I realized how difficult it is to host a show. It needs a lot of presence of mind, not showing the fear on your face even if you forget any lines or the act which was planned does not go right, you need a good spirit while hosting and I appreciate the work of all the anchors after hosting Gold Awards.”

“If people like and I get a positive review towards my hosting skill than I would really do hosting again as I really enjoyed being on the stage and hosting a show” she concluded.

Seems like Jayati enjoyed very hosting the Gold Awards, are the audience too excited to watch Jayati’s new side as an anchor?
