I don’t know how to fly a kite – Neil Bhatt
As Makar Sankranti is being celebrated today, people are rejoicing it to the fullest and as well as gorging on tasty delicacies. Well, not only Maharashtrians but also Gujaratis are celebrating this festival with zeal. Popular actor Neil Bhatt too is in a happy mood to celebrate the festival cheerfully.
Sharing his excitement for the festival Neil says, “I don’t fly kites. It comes as a surprise to everyone when they come to know that I don’t fly kites. During my childhood, I used to try flying a lot with my cousins but I always failed to do so. So after that I have lost hopes now I don’t even try.”
Talking about the celebration, he says, “I celebrate Sankranti with my friends here in Mumbai. We play DJ, we have some nice food, they also fly kites and I see them doing it. Special authentic Gujarati dishes are cooked for this day.”
Reminiscing his childhood memories, Neil avers, “I miss my childhood days, we used to visit Baroda for this occasion. Our gang of cousins used to have blast there but now as we all are grown up, we all are busy with our respective work so now we don’t get time.”
I wish them happy Sankranti, fly many kites. Fly a kite on my behalf too as I cannot,” he concludes wishing actors for this special occasion.
We wish viewers a Happy Makar Sankranti!
