“I do get hate mails from the fans” : Gautam Ahuja

Gautam Ahuja who has been seen earlier in popular shows like Nayi Umr Nayi Chunauti – Parvarrish – Agla Padav, Bal Ganesh, 26-12, Adaalat, is currently essaying the character of ‘The bad guy’ Adi in Balaji Telefilms’ popular show Ye Hai Mohabbatein on Star Plus. Gautam, who studies in Std. 8th, gets hate mails from the fans of Ye Hai Mohabbatein for his character Adi.

We spoke to Gautam to know more about his real life, his bonding with his co-stars and much more in this conversation.

Tell us something about yourself?

I am a mastikhor bachcha. I am a very fun loving child.

Did you want to become an actor always?

Yes, I have always wanted to become an actor.

What kind of bonding you share with everyone on sets?

I mostly have my scenes to shoot with Karan bhaiya (Karan Patel) and Anita ma’am (Anita Hassanandani) and not with everyone so I share the best bonding with Karan bhaiya and I also share a good bonding with Divyanka ma’am (Divyanka Tripathi) and Anita ma’am.

What are your interests other than acting?

I like dancing and I am a trained dancer in every form.

What are your hobbies?

I like to draw. I love drawing.

Who are the naughtiest persons on the sets?

Shravan (Bhavesh Jaiswal) and I.

Do you get hate mails from the fans?

Yes, I do get hate mails from the fans. They say that everyone wants to slap Adi and that they hate Adi and not me. They say that if Adi will turn out to be a positive character they will start loving Adi too. They appreciate my work as Adi.
What kind of reaction you get from your friends?

The response is good and they are liking my work.

What do you aspire to become?

I aspire to become a mechanical engineer or an actor.
