I did Yudh only for Anurag Kashyap – Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Among the ensemble of powerful actors present in Amitabh Bachchan’s Yudh (Sony Entertainment Television), one of them happens to be the insanely talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Nawaz has shot a special episode for Yudh and will be seen sharing screen space with none other Amitabh in the movie.

Talking about Yudh, Nawaz says, “I have a special appearance in Yudh. I shot for two days and I share screen space with Amitabh sir in the serial.”

While Nawaz has been choosy about his roles preferring to play meaty and lengthy characters, this special appearance was a courtesy he extended for his mentor, Anurag Kashyap. Explains Nawaz, “This is something I did only for Anurag who is the creative director of Yudh. When Anurag called me, I readily agreed. It is something that I did only for Anurag. If Anurag gives me a broom to sweep, I am ready to sweep the floors too.”

On the film front, Nawaz will also soon be seen in Kick playing a character with slightly grey undertones.
