I can’t even make tea and these kids cook so well: Randhir Kapoor
The Kapoors – Randhir, Rajiv and Rishi and their families are known for their fondness for food. Recently, Star Plus’ Junior MasterChef contestants got the opportunity to perform the special ‘staphna pooja’ for the RK Studio Ganesh Utsav and the preparations for making special modaks took on in full swing.
The children were more than excited and chose to give the traditional modaks a twist- Beetroot Modaks, Marble Effect modaks and Pineapple modaks were the delicacies presented. Present at the pooja were Randhir Kapoor and his brother Rajiv Kapoor. The two looked more than elated to let the Junior Masterchef contestants and Chefs perform the sacred pooja with them.
“I can’t make a proper cup of tea so I am amused at the cooking skills these little Junior Masterchef contestants have. They have been cooking international cuisine at such a tender age and I am so proud of them. The modaks we had today were delicious and added great flavour to our festival,” says the charming Randhir Kapoor.
“We have been preparing the modaks with the children since a night before. We have added a Masterchef twist to the flavours hoping that the Kapoor family will like them. It was very encouraging to see them praise our talent and like our offering,” said Chef Kunal Kapoor.
