“I can connect more to Bollywood movies” – Arjit Taneja

Arjit Taneja who essays the role of Purab in Kumkum Bhagya shares his love for films.

Sundays are special so we thought of bringing something special for you. This time we got in touch with young and handsome actor Arjit Taneja who shares his love for movies.

What kind of movies do your prefer to watch? Arjit says, “I prefer watching romantic films more , I feel if the concept and story is good then you can watch any film. I think if a person can like Rang De Basanti then he can like Dil Chahta Hai also.”

Talking about the difference between Hollywood and Bollywood films he says, “In Hollywood films I like watching films like Superman, Captain America. Hollywood movies are made on a very grand scale and they look more realistic but being an Indian I can connect more to Bollywood movies.”

When asked to steal a scene from his favorite Arjit Taneja picked a scene from ZNMD, he avers, “I really want to do try an adventurous activity which these guys did in Zindagi Na Milege Doobara which is Sky Diving. I don’t want to do anything Shah Rukh Khan types because no one can do that in real life.”

Comparing TV and films Arjit says, “I think nowadays there are many TV shows which are very realistic like ours and Ye Hai Mohbbatein. TV is getting better I really liked 24 tele-series and talking about films I think there are many films which connects well.”

So which movie did he watch recently? “I hardly watch movies in a theater but the recent movie which I saw was Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulaniya I really liked it.”
