Having impressed viewers as Pankhuri in Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, the most loved Disha Parmar is now all set to comeback in a completely new avatar of Ayesha in the show.
And here in a conversation with us, Disha talks about some fitness tips to maintain good health and a fantastic body.
Personal fitness mantra?
I believe in eating healthy and working out.
Personal diet mantra?
Since I am not much of a foodie it is not very difficult to control my hunger pangs. I just believe in eating less of carbs and more of protein.
Are you a foodie?
As I mentioned earlier that I am not a foodie.
Exercise routine?
I jog for half an hour every day.
Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg?
I am a non-vegetarian.
Favourite cuisine?
I love eating Chinese and Indian food.
Favourite dish?
I just drool over rajma chawal.
A must on your breakfast table?
I need a glass of milk every morning.
Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee?
I consume green tea without sugar.
Lunch generally consists of?
I prefer eating dal, chapatti and vegetable for lunch.
Dinner generally consists of?
My dinner is limited to salads and boiled chicken or then only a bowl of dal.
Dessert delights?
I love Tiramisu and ice-cream.
My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)?
Occasionally I like sipping on Virgin Mojito.
My favourite drink (alcoholic)?
I do not consume alcohol.
Most unusual dish I have tasted?
Not being a foodie I prefer eating only what I am used to. But Sushi was something very unusual; I hated it.
Experiment with food?
No.
On the streets I love to have?
I like eating gol gappe in Delhi. Paani-puri as it is called here in Mumbai is not as yummy as it is there. However in Mumbai I like having bhel puri.
Do you cook?
No, not at all.
Fitness tip?
I would like to advice people to eat whatever they wish to but make sure they exercise a lot.
