I am the first person in my family to become an actor: Vrinda Dawda
Vrinda Dawda, whom we know as Taani in Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance (D3-produced by Cinevistaas), will soon be completing one year in the show.
“Yes, soon I will be completing one year in D3. Couldn’t make out how time passed by so soon. I am really glad to have a wonderful cast and crew. Initially, fans did not accept me as Taani, but now they acknowledge my work and have started liking me. I feel special when people text me saying that they like my work. My fans on social media have also appreciated my work. I really feel special when people come and ask for my autograph.”
Are you comfortable enacting romantic scenes on screen? “Yes absolutely, but finally it is upon us as to how comfortable we are while performing the scenes.”
If not actor, what would you have been? “Since I have done my aviation course, I would have definitely been an Air hostess. Initially, I did a few photo shoots but even in my wildest dreams, I never thought that I would become an actor. In fact, I am the first person in my family to become an actor. My parents are a kind of backbone to me for they support me a lot.”
Where do you see yourself on television after five years? “I very much see myself in D3 even after five years.”
Lastly, other than D3, can we see you doing any other shows? “I don’t know about daily soaps, but I am not averse to doing reality shows.”
Well, we wish you all the luck for your future!!
