I am quite lucky to have worked so much without giving a proper audition – Neha Marda

Good looking Neha Marda who is loved for her character of Urmi, talks about her first audition experience in a chat with us.

Good looking Neha Marda is currently essaying the character of Urmi in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki. She is winning the hearts of the viewers through her acting skills and her tough character. While Neha has already charmed the viewers with the character of former Gehna in Colors’ Balika Vadhu, we ask Neha about her journey in the filed of acting and experience of giving auditions for the shows.

Let’s see what she has shared with us –

Says Neha, “I never thought of getting into acting because I was more into dancing. So I used to participate in dance reality shows more and wanted make my career in dancing. My mother wanted me to go in acting while doing a dance reality show, a producer saw me and approached my mother.

I remember when I was in my home town Kolkata, a script was sent from Mumbai and they asked us to record my video and send it to them. All relatives had gathered at our home as we all were very excited to see the script which had come from Mumbai and they were curious to see how I am acting.

The situation was quite funny and father sent the recording of the video. They liked it and I was called for the audition in Mumbai. Later when I was doing my first show, I got an offer for another show and again I didn’t give my audition as per the procedure.”

“Till now I have not given any audition with a proper procedure and I feel that I am quite lucky to have worked so much without giving a proper audition,” she ends.
