I am playing Garba since two years now – Kanchi Singh

Bubbly Kanchi Singh who plays Avni in Director’s Kut Production’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya on Zee TV is loved by the viewers for her naive acting in the show and has been applauded for her work too in the show. On this auspicious day today of Navratri, we ask Kanchi about her memories related to Garba and more.

Despite being busy with her shoot schedules Kanchi ensures that she goes to play the much loved Garba every year.

Says Kanchi, “I have been playing Garba continuously since two years and I love this festival of Navratri as it brings lot of enthusiasm and fun around. I remember last year I want to play Garba for all nine days. Since most of my friends are Gujarati, they taught me to play Garba and now I literally wait for this festival to come my way.”

As Navratri is celebrated with zeal and zest we asked Kanchi about the dress which she buys for the festival and grooves on her favorite song? She says, “I don’t buy any specific dress for Navratri but I love to do Garba on this song ManMani Radha Rani.”

“This year I have already booked the day for Falguni Pathak’s show and will play Garba. Every year I used to go to Kora Kendra in Mumbai to enjoy the festival to the fullest. But yes because of my busy schedule it won’t be possible for me to play regularly this year but I will go at least once and enjoy playing with my all Gujarati and other personal friends,” adds Kanchi.
