Rithvik Dhanjani has had a fabulous year 2012, and has grown in popularity as an actor. Currently seen as Arjun in Zee TV’s Pavitra Ruishta the young lad’s on-screen chemistry with Asha Negi has been loved and appreciated by all.

Of late, rumour mills have gone active stating that there is no smoke without fire, and that something is brewing between the lead couple of the popular Balaji Telefilms show. If that’s not it, Asha has been uploading pictures of her with Rithvik on social networking sites.

We got in touch with Rithvik to ask him whether they are an off screen couple too and he replied, “No way! Asha and I are very good friends. She is a big time Twitter maniac and she loves tweeting. People like us as a jodi on television and they think we are a real life couple also, but we are not dating.”

Rithvik has enthralled everyone with his dancing skills in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and is now all set to make you go ga ga with his anchoring in Zee TV’s upcoming reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz.

So how does he feel donning the anchor’s hat, we asked him, “I am very happy and glad with the way my career is shaping up.”

When asked about the rumours of Pavitra Rishta shutting down, he averred, “Well, we haven’t got any intimation from the channel. Yes, I came to know about Ankita Lokhande quitting the show but no idea about the show going off air.”

    Fans are turning to matchmakers in the case of Rithvik and Asha. I suppose its because they make such a cute couple and are such lovely people and they get along so well that their fans want to see them marry each other. It’s just good wishes from fans for the twosome. No harm meant I hope. Lot’s of couples who are good friends before marriage end up having great lives together.

    if such small and cute scenes can put two people in love,the i wonder wht was between drashti and gurmeet, who were doing such intense scenes.no other actors could match up their chemistry….so whtts the secret behind thieir beautiful chemistry????????

      the secret is that they are simply great ACTORS!!! it is only viewers fantasy who sees in every good on screen couple a possible real couple. of course they look great and even I would like to see them together…. (same with drashti and gurmeet) but after all it is just acting.
      maybe a good friendship/relationship matters to create a good chemistry.
      same with Barun and Sanaya in IPKKND. their chemistry was also not bad 😉
      but no reason to speculate and put out rumours. seriousely
