I am not dating Vishal Singh – Giaa Maanek

Giaa Maanek who won the Best Actress In a Comic Role at The Twelfth Indian Telly Awards for her superb performance in SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju was spotted having a good time with her mother and close friend Vishal Singh (Saath Nibhana Saathiya) at the post event party at Firangi Paani.

The fact that she was roaming around with Vishal hand-in-hand made many heads turn and people started wondering whether something was brewing between the two?

Vishal and Giaa had worked together in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya when the latter was the lead (Gopi) in the above hit Star Plus show. She moved out of the project after bagging halak Dikhhla Jaa bringing in Devoleena Bhattacharjee as the replacement.

However, Vishal is still a part of the Rashmi Sharma Productions’ soap.

In a bid to clear the air we called up Giaa and asked if she was dating Vishal? “No, we are very good friends. It is just that because of our busy schedules, we don’t get time to catch up. We met up after a long time at the awards and the post party hence spent all our time together.”

Giaa is not surprised at people wondering about her relationship status. “Since not much is known about my personal life, a certain amount of curiosity is bound to happen. Honestly there is nothing happening in my personal life, right now I am focusing only on work.”

Looking ahead this self confessed romantic girl would like to meet a guy who will really love her. “I am looking for a good human being who will take care of me. Good looks are important, but I would prefer a guy who is not that great in looks, if he is a better person. Eeven if you are dapper in looks, but is not nice to me, what is the use?”

In closing, we try to corner Giaa and ask who does she like in the Tellywood and she smartly said, “No one. I just love Salman Khan from the big screen.”
