I am not at all upset with the ratings of Mad In India: Raajbir Kaur

TV actors usually quit their shows when it comes to playing a character older than their age. But recently we came across someone who is happy to be playing a 70 year old in spite of being extremely young in real life.

Raajbir Kaur is the one actor we are talking about!!

This talented star is leaving no stones unturned when it comes to emoting on-screen for her show Mad In India (Key Light Productions). Hence, we asked her if she is unhappy with the constant low ratings of the show to which she calmly answered, “I am not at all upset with the ratings as everyone is doing their job well. I am sure that not everyone liked the show, but we will be bringing in lot more masti in the upcoming episodes. TV results are more like films; there are mixed reviews more like the recently released Highway. Not everyone has gone gaga about it.”

When asked if she wasn’t worried about essaying an old lady on-screen she stated, “I am an actor and I will take up whatever role comes my way. In fact, I am being appreciated for this role by one and all. A lot of people have come up to me and said that I look extremely smart and young devoid of make-up and with make-up I manage to carry the older character with similar ease.”

She further went on to add, “Every time I apply the make-up to look older I wonder how much those old people want to get back to their youthful days.”

Now that’s being extremely thoughtful.
